Note that i would be willing, unfortunately my parents dont even know i rp or what an rpg is, and wouldnt be too happy about me giving money to someone i don't actually know in person, so they would probably not let me give money.

It's alright. These donations are not mandatory. If one person donates $40 and another donates $3 and another donates $90, and no one else donates anything, that'd be fine. It doesn't have to be even, and no one has to donate anything at all.
