The character was annoying, that's all. :P

That's no reason to give it a lower rating! If they put a good episode at the beginning of the season then you should still rate it well.

Agreed. I love Freema Agyeman, and I love Martha Jones. I loved her after Smith and Jones, and I love her even more now. I definitely think she beats out Rose even, just from what we've seen so far. This series is going to be awesome.

Just because the character got a bit soppy at points doesn't mean Billie Piper's not still a babe! Phwoar! :P

Just look at the shape of her face man! She looks like a mutant!

Hey, if you don't like her, that's fine with me -- more left for the rest of us!

*sigh* Oh, Danny...

Danny Stewart April 8, 2007 9:20 AM

You all started it. The blame lies with you all.

Ronnie Rowlands April 8, 2007 10:41 AM

Still a bit "leisure hive" isn't it?

Danny Stewart April 8, 2007 10:56 AM

There is no Leisure Hive on here, so anything's fair game. :P

Not bad, this week - very enjoyable. The Shakespeare quotes I could see coming a long way off. A week off in fact. Still, some great performances, good storyline and very impressive from a technical standpoint. However, I think if the writers want to create the kind of sexual chemistry they're clearly aiming for, they could perhaps make a bit more of an effort and try for something far more subtle than sticking them in the same bed. I know it was nothing untoward, but it just seems like a cheap and lazy way of doing it. End pretentious mode. ;)

Marinedalek April 11, 2007 5:18 AM

I think the intention was to show that there was no sexual chemistry. Martha clearly thought something might happen but the Doctor hardly seemed to notice her. Back to the JN-T days of no hanky-panky for a bit now I think :P

Agreed, hopefully.
