But...the Doctor doesn't use guns.
He does in the first time Chris E met the Daleks he had that gun didn't he.
It wasn't his first time, it was his first time on screen, but not in general...he was scared then, the Dalek took him by surprise and he wasn't prepared, so he was scared...fear makes us all do extreme things that are normally out of our character.

Peter Davison shooting the living snot out of a Cyberman in Earthshock?
Alright, true, he has resorted sometimes, but as general rule, he's opposed to guns.
yeah, i suppose , but i suppose the character could be a normal person who meets up with doctor and they use guns .
But the Doctor wouldn't approve of them using guns.
I'll have to dispute that point Danny. He did allow Capt Jack to shoot the living snot out of a Dalek in "Parting of the Ways" :P
Daleks are a special case, as we have seen time and time again.
Daleks are his worst enemy, of course he would stuggle to show anything but hatred towards them.
Then what about my CSI/Fahrenheit idea. You see something suspicious and you investigate it. If it comes to a confrontation you press the buttons at the right time and you win. This quick thinking with buttons represents the quick thinking of the doctor. e.g. Some people go missing, you investigate, find out some wierd alien race are behind it, after researching adn researching and more researching you finally confront them at it takes quick thinking. You don't necesseraly have to use guns you can well..... use your sonic screwdriver on a chandelleir and make it fall onto a Cyberman or something.
I think that's the kind of game that would work quite well.
Good one sam i really like the idea of dr who/CSI idea and the theme tune for CSI vegas would suit
"Who are you? , who who who who" |
No thanks. Doctor Who theme all the way. :P
i suppose , the doctor who theme is good enough !
