Precisely, RV is allowed away with too much.

Superkid11 May 14, 2007 12:42 PM

That's a problem on the forum I co-admin, too. Members being too favorable despite breaking rules several times. While RV can be insulting he's also too damn funny to do anything about. He seems to be an ok guy otherwise.
(And I rarely say damn!)

Ross Hendrie May 14, 2007 12:57 PM

Funny to you perhaps, not to us all.

I resent what you just said about me. RV does not have me wrapped around anything. I simply understand RV's unique personality and sense of humor -- something no one else on the site (save Ronnie perhaps) seems to do. RV was joking -- his post had irony considering the thread it was posted in. I wish the rest of the people on here would understand RV like I do. If that happened, no one would get offended by anything he said!

And me. I don't care what anyone says, RV is a friend of mine, and I wish the rest of the members on here would cut him some slack.

Drivel. RV is the single most offensive person ive ever met.

RV has never offended me once. And I've been on the receiving end (no pun intended) on and off the forums. I guess some people must not appreciate the way things are...I usually sardonically mock things in reality the way he does here though, maybe that goes some way towards understanding it. Maybe it would suit some people better if the harshness was cut back a bit?

Superkid11 May 14, 2007 3:20 PM

Really I've been on the internet long enough to take near anything short of a racial slur in my stride.

I mean come on, getting offended by anything he's said is pretty pointless. O_o

Who? May 14, 2007 3:30 PM

Rv was joking and yes it was quite funny. However i think that Daryl repeated the joke and people went mad !

Some people can joke but others can't?

Maybe some people can't understand Daryl's sense of humour.

Superkid11 May 14, 2007 3:42 PM

I guess it's gonna start getting to the point where we can't tell wrong from left or right and we'll all start wearing hotpants and dancing like camels.

Who? May 14, 2007 4:06 PM

This is were Daryl would say back on topic.:P

Those were the days...

Ok then, solution, ask RV to keep his unique sense of humoer between him and you, will save slot of problems, which i think RV likes creating.
Theres no need for most of the insults/comments he makes that are offensive, these would ease the situation if delted or unused.

Who? should change his name to "Emo?"

I didn't know you and RV had met! Is he as charming in person as he is on the internet? :D

Well said, Tom. I'm totally with you.

Finally, the people making sense begin to show themselves. :D

As Tom said, repeating a joke in the same place isn't funny, it's just stupid. Not only that, but it wasn't funny when Daryl said it because he was the whole reason I started yelling at people for "get back on topic" messages in the first place! Therefore I don't see how it could be construed as humorous.

Yeah, the days of suffering, when it was agonizing to scroll through all the useless posts Daryl had made all over my site. I miss those days too.

I have a better solution. Why don't you keep your lack of a sense of humor to yourself? That way you won't get offended at RV's comments!

Superkid11 May 14, 2007 9:48 PM

I made so much sense it hurt when it came out. =D

Really the only things that should be considered terrible and offensive are racial slurs, direct personal attacks, and making fun of 9/11.

To me, nothing is more offensive then being told what to do by people who believe in giant fairies who live in a magic kingdom in the clouds.

Absolutely not. I am 100% not bribing Danny at all.

You should all live by my motto: "Lol at Internet". Read into it what you will

I said it first, you see. Repeating it was unnecessary because it is no longer funny a second time.

I actually have no idea why I posted that. My apologies to Who? for that. I must be going loco.

I was burning down his local church and he tried to stop me. Someone should explain to him why shaking the Bible at the fire isn't going to put it out.

Careful with all the logic you're throwing around there, Danny. You might offend someone.

The only funny 9/11 joke is the US Government.
