I don't believe Martha has left for good. I get the feeling there's going to be some sort of comeback in Series 4. She gave the Doctor her phone so there's still a link between the two of them.

She will be back -- she will be appearing sporadically throughout series 4 and also series 2 of Torchwood.

She's confirmed to be returning halfway through Series Four, and will also appear in three episodes of Torchwood in the meantime, yay.

There will be another companion from the beginning of Series Four continuing through the entire 13 episode run.

Cool stuff! Actually that's a much better outcome than I thought it would be. :D

No. I've never understood this fixation with Rose. She's gone, just like 20+ companions in the past, and Mr Davies has said he has no plans to bring her back. Was it like this when Susan left in 1964?

Thank you!

Can everyone just get over Rose please? Thank you very much.

Ronnie Rowlands July 2, 2007 12:47 PM

I concur. Rose was crap. She was too clingy to the Doctor. "OMGZ I LUV HIM HE WOS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GR8 I MISS HIM EMO EMO"

Chris Britton July 2, 2007 12:48 PM

This coming form the man who fancied his pants off her last year :P

What? She's still hot -- I just wish people who call themselves fans would stop acting like she's the only companion ever and she has to come back at some point...

You're not thinking. You're being a mindless Rose-loving crowd-follower. :P

I like to think, I thought that she is great. Mindless- impossible. I do love Rose...:P

Crowd follower? Learn, The crowd followes me ;):P

Chris Britton July 2, 2007 3:58 PM

In Soviet Russia Crowd follows you!

I see your point Danny, hot yes, but we have Martha and someone else coming now :)

Hmm, yeah, I didn't actually want to know that....

Danny Stewart July 3, 2007 1:38 PM

Well, it's all over BBC News, and I don't consider casting to be major plot details, so that's your fault, silly. Besides, there's absolutely no way you would not have known by the time series 4 rolled around. :P

Awwww.

Also, I hear they´ve got Kylie Minogue appearing in the Christmas Special.

Well, in fairness, you can take it however you want. I just took it as a joke, because it was silly. It was good as a joke, but as the truth, it doesn't make any sense.

Yup. I hope it's not just a gimmick though. My faith in RTD has been destroyed lately, sadly. :(

Superkid11 July 3, 2007 9:19 PM

Don't put all the blame on RTD, blame the script editors that didn't smack him upside the head. :P
I enjoyed the episode, myself. The Doctor being reduced to a baby-like creature could simply be explained with the fact that he's an alien. Time Lords only stop aging when they turn into little Gollum-like things. :P
Although I was hoping for a better explanation of Utopia than what we got. A trap to turn everybody into Pseudodaleks? I was hoping for the next season to talk about that, and show the creaton of the next universe. But nope, just everybody getting turned into faux-daleks in spheres.
Still, I'm giving this a 8/10.

I was looking forward to this episode all week but I was dissapointed with the outcome. I agree with everything Danny said.

In my opinion, The Parting Of The Ways is the best season finale out of the three we've had so far. It will take something special to beat it.

I hear Steven Moffat has been signed up for a 2 parter in series 4. They should give him the finale to write, rather than Russell. :D

I didn't see much TV during the week leading up to Last Of The Time Lords, but I don't think they had a little teaser trailer every day of the week like they did with The Parting Of The Ways and Doomsday. Am I right? We knew something big was happening to they treated us to a little snippet each day. I don't think we got that this year. Nothing special stood out for me in this years finale. :(

I was sad that Jack had to leave... and in the fashion he did. He should have stayed in the TARDIS :tardis: and played a bigger part in series 4. I felt he was under-used in the three episodes he was in this year. He didn't have alot of screen time. Do other people think he was in the background too much or was I just expecting to see alot more Jack after seeing more of him in Torchwood?

One final thing: I just hope they called Jack the Face of Boe and that he isnt actually the Face of Boe. That just doesn't make sence. What happens to his body? Or since he can't die, was he decapitated and then pickled in a jar? :P

It is? I've never seen it there. :P
