Yes it is. I prefer to be aware of what's going on.

When I'm at home I use my computer to play music over a 5.1 Surround System and it's great :)

Well, I prefer to tune out my surroundings, especially when on the bus or places where I'm doing little for prolonged periods and don't wish to interact with the world around me.

That's nice. I prefer to be able to walk around the house and listen to loud music without disturbing others.

Well yeah that works when on a bus or something but not when out walking around.

Well, then again, I AM a person who's been homeschooled since 2nd grade so that may be the reason I seem to think the world outside my room is rediculously dangerous. :P
