I just got a report from my Anti-Virus that a Worm Virus was attempting to access my computer just after I started uTorrent so im getting rid of it im afraid.

Danny Stewart November 19, 2005 5:36 PM

Ross, Ross, Ross, Ross, Ross... *shakes head*

If I had the slightest inkling that you could be redeemed, I'd try to convince you, but I know better by now.

EDIT: By the way, for the record, maybe instead of running away from viruses you should just deal with them as they're very much a reality in the world of computing. Either stay off the internet or get used to dealing with viruses. That's what antivirus software is for... not just alerting you to viruses, but protecting you against them. So just do what you have to do and don't worry about potential viruses that might come along.

And also for the record, I have lost my entire computer's hard drive multiple times due to viruses obtained through file sharing. And I still do it.

That quote convinced me to abort file sharing permenantly.

Danny Stewart November 19, 2005 7:54 PM

Yes, but to be fair, that was when I was too complacent to feel the need for antivirus software at all. :P
