Danny Stewart November 22, 2006 12:29 PM

That'd be cool.

Ronnie Rowlands November 23, 2006 4:41 AM

Catherine Tate is in it playing the bride, That can't be good. Can't stand the woman and her stupid show. "Am I bovvered? face?Bovvered? No!" I switch over whenever she's on.

Funny dear? You dear? No dear!

Ben Dawson November 23, 2006 5:42 AM

Funny Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer? You Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer? No Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer!

Sam Davies November 23, 2006 6:07 AM

The line is actually, gay dear me dear no dear, just cos' a man minds his p's and q's you think he travels up the chocolate escalator.

Danny Stewart November 23, 2006 9:24 AM

I haven't seen any of Catherine Tate other than the five seconds of Doctor Who she's been on. And I already hate her.

Jez November 23, 2006 3:31 PM

ACTUALLY, it's "Who dear? Me dear? Gay dear? No dear." (although she has varied it over time).

To be frank, Catherine Tate's show kicks the shizzle out of all of the recent sketch shows. Little Britain was fine to start off with but they just repeated too many of their concepts to the stage where it was just damn annoying. Nowadays, I'd rather listen to the (f*cking, piss annoying, creator-should-have-been-castrated) Crazy Frog than watch Little Britain. Granted, some of Tate's stuff is getting repetitive too, but at least she's making an effort to vary the situations more than LB's Lou and Andy sketches.

Oh, and I like her.

Danny Stewart November 23, 2006 3:47 PM

Umm... good. Then you'll enjoy "The Runaway Bride" just that much more. :P

Recurring Villain November 23, 2006 8:23 PM

I hate everyone equally.

Danny Stewart November 23, 2006 8:35 PM

Good for you, RV. That's something to be proud of. ;)

Ronnie Rowlands November 24, 2006 5:06 AM

How come you hate her Danny?

There is hardly any good comedy on these days. There is nothing like Bottom, Blackadder, Fry and Laurie or the young ones on these Days. You know, nothing you would rush home for:(

Ben Dawson November 24, 2006 6:50 AM

haven't you ever watched Scrubs...I'm only JUST getting into that, as in, in the last 2 days.

Danny Stewart November 24, 2006 9:52 AM

I've seen a few episodes. It's pretty good. And Ronn, she just strikes me as an annoying bitch. Sorry... that was my first impression, and as they say, first impressions are the most important.

Ronnie Rowlands November 24, 2006 9:53 AM

Hmm, well I'm sorry if my opinions have shrouded your judgement.

Danny Stewart November 24, 2006 10:08 AM

Not sure what you mean... your opinion hasn't affected me in any way. I just saw her at the end of "Doomsday" and went "wow, she seems like a bitch." My brother agreed and my mother said "I hope she's not the next companion!" I'm not alone in my view...

Ronnie Rowlands November 24, 2006 10:19 AM

Oh I thought you meant after reading all these opinions.

Danny Stewart November 24, 2006 10:44 AM

No, I meant right after seeing her for the first time.

Ben Dawson November 24, 2006 1:48 PM

yeah, but you don't know a person from just a few lines

Danny Stewart November 24, 2006 5:26 PM

No, but you get a first impression. And that was my first impression.

Ben Dawson November 24, 2006 5:42 PM

hmm, and first impressions are important I suppose.

Danny Stewart November 24, 2006 5:47 PM

Exactly my point.

Jez November 25, 2006 6:36 AM

It was your first impression of the character she's playing, not her. :P

Recurring Villain November 25, 2006 6:47 AM

Colin Baker played the Doctor...

Danny Stewart November 25, 2006 10:57 AM

Ouch, RV. Settle down. And no, Jez, she herself struck me as too much of a bitch. Like it came too naturally for her.

Sam Davies November 27, 2006 6:09 AM

I know what you mean and her TV show is a bit repetetive.

"Settle down"?

...

Okay then... I guess I got a little excited back there. Definitely went over the top, eh Danny? :P

But really. I didn't like Colin Baker at all.

Danny Stewart November 27, 2006 6:17 AM

I didn't like his era. Thought he was alright.

Recurring Villain November 27, 2006 6:21 AM

He seemed a bit arrogant to me.

Plus I hated his hair.

Danny Stewart November 27, 2006 6:29 AM

Blame the writing for the arrogance... that's kind of how they wanted him, and for that I don't like them. Perhaps you should destroy them.

Ben Dawson November 27, 2006 7:31 AM

Colin Baker was brilliant as the Doctor, as Danny says, it was the writters that made him bad...if you've heard Big Finish audio productions of Doctor Who, then you will know that Colin Baker was a very good Doctor.

Sam Davies November 27, 2006 8:07 AM

What are you talking about Colin Baker was rubbish, Sylvester Mcoy was better much better.

Ronnie Rowlands November 27, 2006 9:00 AM

Sam ,I just lent you Revelation of the Daleks, and said CB was good!

Ben Dawson November 27, 2006 9:03 AM

hahaha, really...Revelation Of The Daleks was good, I've got it on DVD.

Danny Stewart November 27, 2006 12:37 PM

Colin Baker is not bad as the Doctor. His era usually left a lot to be desired but as Ben says, his Big Finish audios are quite good!

Incidentally, I see Michael Grade has taken over ITV....maybe he'll try and cancel Doctor Who again, only to realise he's on the wrong channel .

Danny Stewart November 27, 2006 5:45 PM

Yeah, just read that. :P

Ben Dawson November 28, 2006 5:09 AM

I found out about that this morning...actually, he quite likes the new series, it was just the old one he hated.

Recurring Villain November 28, 2006 5:27 AM

You know who's even worse than Colin Baker?

Whoever played "Melanie" or whatever the heck the name of his companion was. Oh god. Every time she screamed I wanted to do something that would probably get me banned if I described it. Hint: It involves her dying. Slowly and silently.

She was the most annoying companion in the existence of Doctor Who.

If she's still alive I'm going to blow up her house.

Twice.

And kill every relative and descendant to make sure her genetic data is completely erased from the gene pool.

Ronnie Rowlands November 28, 2006 5:29 AM

Bonnie Langford is a well established actress. And yes RV, she is still alive. :P

Recurring Villain November 28, 2006 5:33 AM

First person to get me her address, phone number, and a thermonuclear warhead gets a dollar.

Ben Dawson November 28, 2006 5:39 AM

no use to me:P
