All but Human Nature (which was still amazing) written by Steven Moffat. :D

All right! Good luck, and as a budding sci-fi writer myself I'd be glad to help if you get stuck, which I've had happen to me numerous times. :P

I intend to.

I'd love to see that too - no doubt it'd make a hell of a lot more sense.

Danny. You have everyones undivded attention as always ;) make us proud mate. We know you can do it.

Heh. If we had the money, shame we can't do a fan edit of the 3 episodes. well I suppose we could.

Ronnie Rowlands November 4, 2007 1:24 PM

And what are you going to get out of it exactly? You're only going to make yourself kick yourself more.

The most editing would do without the use of us acting out scenes occasionally or doing voices would be to rearrange clips. :P

For the sake of doing it I guess.

I will feel better.

And, as evidenced by the reaction on here so far (except for you, obviously), other people will hopefully enjoy it.

Without being offensive, Leave it to Ronn to not like the idea.

Ronn, the general response on here is that although we disagree with Danny about the future of Doctor Who, we all did agree that LOTTL was a very bad episode by Doctor Who's standards. We all would feel better if someone was able to rewrite it to be a better quality episode. If Danny can do that, he deserves our backing. I admire creativity, if anyone wanted my deviantart adress. I could show you all the amount of X-Men fanfics I have done. So if Danny wants to be creative, let him have some fun then Ronn.

My impression of Lucy Saxon is awesome. Coincidentally, so is my impression of a plank of wood.

Don't say that around Alexus. Back when he was around, he was one of the biggest Lucy Saxon fans ever. :P

Chris Britton November 16, 2007 5:55 AM

Well with all fairness she IS hot and slightly manipulative in episode 12. She can help me take over the world anyday ;)

But seeing as how I would need to get through Danny, he has first dibs on Lucy :P

So have you re-written that three part story yet, Danny? This thread is highly amusing.

I wish I had the time. I did start, but I never got far with it. Though I'm glad the thread amuses you. Honestly, we've started a new age for the show now and I prefer not to look back. Honestly, the likelihood that I'll ever watch an Eccleston/Tennant episode again is fairly low.

What about the Moffat-written episodes? The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances? The Silence in the Library/The Forest of the Dead? Blink? Those were all brilliant.

Recurring Villain July 11, 2010 3:49 AM

television is one of those things you probably dont find yourself compelled to rewatch much in the first place unless it's highly exceptional, especially when the series is still going and there are new episodes to watch

True, but they remind me of the era they were produced in. I will say that if I watch any, it will likely be those.

An era in which those episodes stood out more as great Television. Now however...
