Well the odds are still in your favour, put on the "I really want to go" argument and they'll cave in.

Danny Stewart November 16, 2005 1:31 PM

Hoping so, hoping so. Nothing to lose by continuing to try.

Chris Britton November 17, 2005 3:49 AM

Can't you use the Puppy Dog face. :P

Danny Stewart November 17, 2005 6:02 AM

Somehow the puppy dog face doesn't seem to work as well when you're talking about $3000. :P

Chris Britton November 18, 2005 6:35 AM

Hmm, what about gradual manipulation? Like Palpitine on Star Wars, I apoligise for bringing that into here, but i needed some way to explain it. :)

Danny Stewart November 18, 2005 7:16 AM

I don't get it. :P

Ross Hendrie November 18, 2005 11:41 AM

Basically hatch a master plan.

Danny Stewart November 18, 2005 4:42 PM

Figured as much.

Chris Britton November 19, 2005 1:48 AM

And if that does not work, have a backup plan

Danny Stewart November 19, 2005 3:55 AM

Duly noted.

Ross Hendrie November 19, 2005 7:07 AM

Any progress?

Chris Britton November 19, 2005 3:47 PM

Yes, how is it going?

Danny Stewart November 19, 2005 5:35 PM

Better and better. Looks like somehow, some way, I will go.

Chris Britton November 21, 2005 7:59 AM

Sneak into England in a suitcase :D

Danny Stewart November 21, 2005 10:05 AM

Hopefully it won't come to that, but if necessary. :D

Chris Britton November 22, 2005 4:25 PM

lol, when in Rome. :P

Excellent! Danny, you are a star! :)

Wait! I just thought, you are coming to bath! Thats only 20 minutes away form Yate., and you have the day off it seems the next day, Danny, if you find out the part of bath you arrive in, I would possibly be able to get down and spend the day with your group, and you would possibly be able to spend the night at my house, spend the day at mine, and my neighbour could run you back the same day in the afternoon. Danny, do you think you could get details fo the bath part, and get permission to stay at mine for a day, as long as you know they way back to the hotel. Then we have the best chance to meet up. :) This is because you only seem to get 2 days to yourself, and they are not together, so bath would be the best chance to see each other, so we have 2 days to hang about.

Ross Hendrie March 10, 2006 11:50 AM

You know the train is a wonderful thing... :P . It'd get you back to London more easily once you're finished visiting with Chris. Why dont you guys have a party? lol

Chris Britton March 10, 2006 1:32 PM

lol, it would be fun, it's no problem getting to Bath and back for me, i take the bus, my only worry is getting a train for Danny, back to London, and to the right place. Danny, what area of London is this Hotel in? The worst that can happen is that i spend the day in Bath with you. the best case is that you are allowed to come home with me, but we have to find a train for you. And i am not having any luck, becuase my neightbours will be at work. Im not sure how i could get you home. As i have never used trains, i am worried.

Ronnie Rowlands March 10, 2006 1:49 PM

Hey Danny, I hope you have a great time over in england. Have fun :)

Ross Hendrie March 10, 2006 3:47 PM

Dont worry Chris, just look up the website for whoever does the local train services in your area, then see if there's a train from Yate to London (id doubt there would be but you never know), if not then see if there's one to Bristol from Yate where Danny will almost certainly be able to get a train to London.

Chris Britton March 10, 2006 5:06 PM

Well, if the Bath idea works we will only need one. Ross, are you any good with trains?

Ross Hendrie March 11, 2006 12:14 PM

What specifically to do with them?

Chris Britton March 12, 2006 5:58 PM

actually, it is ok, i am dealing with it now. :)

Chris Britton March 20, 2006 8:56 AM

Did you speak to your teachers about coming to Yate. :)

Danny Stewart March 20, 2006 10:54 PM

I did, and they tell me it's okay for you to come down to London and spend time with me, but they don't want me leaving the group I'm afraid. What's your schedule looking like during the week?

Ross Hendrie March 21, 2006 12:07 PM

Chris so all you need to do is get the train to the nearest big station, and then to London. That's normally how it works.

Danny Stewart March 22, 2006 10:13 AM

That sounds alright to me. Will that work, Chris?

Ronnie Rowlands March 23, 2006 9:54 AM

Don't mean to sound rude but wouldnt this discussion be better suited to the Danny is Going to london thread?

Danny Stewart March 24, 2006 6:56 AM

What are you talking about? It is in the "Danny is going to London" thread! :P

Ronnie Rowlands March 24, 2006 10:24 AM

Sorry, my mistake, ive not been myself lately, im all scatty, sorry. this is very embarassing

Ross Hendrie March 24, 2006 11:37 AM

Ronn dont worry you're not going mad, Danny just moved the posts involving London from your TV thread to this thread :P .

Ronnie Rowlands March 24, 2006 4:17 PM

Oh did he? Oh thats ok then *Wipes sweat off forehead* phew

Danny Stewart March 25, 2006 8:17 AM

LOL. Sorry about that Ronn. I'm glad Ross told you, hehehe. ;)

Chris Britton March 28, 2006 11:34 AM

Actually Danny, my parents would not let me go to London, i could still come to Bath though :) My parents are worried about me going on a train, im not sure why, i have not really done it before, but i can come to Bath.

Danny Stewart April 1, 2006 8:38 PM

Okay, so then we'll spend the day together then at least. Sounds good to me!

Chris Britton April 2, 2006 6:30 PM

yes, at least we have Bath :P :)

Ross Hendrie April 12, 2006 7:09 AM

Danny I see you've left, you never left any contact details for Chris.

Ronnie Rowlands April 13, 2006 7:55 AM
