yeah, but Nirvana wasn't a commercial band, they hated the idea of that...Kurt Cobain even more so.
|
Uh? The link was the teen angst bit, not the commercial bit. :P
Besides, they are a commercial band nowadays (the fact that Cobain's said to be the top earner of all dead celebs kinda suggests that :P). That, and their music can hardly be described as metal (although you might like to do that they didn't invent Grunge either....they just brought it to the fore of popular music. In a sense, they made Grunge commercial. :D) |
they made it popular, not commercial. There is a difference.
|
*sigh* No "teen angst" mood. Ever. I hate the word angst. People who use it are usually... well... I'll stop there. No angst moods. :P
|
are usually what?:(
|
Nirvana fans. :P
That, or simply annoying. ;) (PS - Popular = Commercial success = Commercial :D) |
grrrrrrrr argh

That's why I don't like most popular bands, but more specifically Nirvana. "RIP Kurt"? You don't see anyone with "RIP Einstein" in their name, and Einstein was fifteen-trillion times more important. At least. People's reactions to the Croc Hunter's death annoyed me too. I couldn't care less but thousands if not millions of people acted as if Jesus 2 had just been crucified. Stuff like that pisses me off. It continually reminds me how stupid and narrow minded most of the human race is. </rant> |
you've obviously over looked my signature then haven't you.

Cheeky bastard :D

I noticed that before I even saw this line of correspondance. I was very confused for a while there.

Ben, the ten character limit exists for a reason. Make your posts mean something instead of getting around it like that.
