I know the sound effects from the Keff McCulloch version are a simple and tiny embellishment (whoosh, whoosh, clang and a bit of the TARDIS here and there pretty much sums it up - it's almost Goldesque), but if you want help recreating those, BBC added a sound-effects-only version of the opening and closing titles on the "Curse of Fenric" R1 DVD. It's embedded into the music only audio option for episode three, I think. Most of the sound effects are there clean, without the theme music in the way (there is a little bit of overlap with the incidental music). If you decide to recreate the sound effects for your remix, hopefully that will help.

I'm sure those will be of use to me when I work further.

Thanks very much. I'd listened to them off the DVDs but not had a file of them isolated.

I thought it was funny and topical, and worth highlighting. :D

Here is an early test mix of my DG Extended mix. I've tried to match the exact structure of Dom's original full-length stereo theme from 1986 (or whenever it ended up being released), and synthesized a new bassline to run through the course of the mix. Additional sound effects are forthcoming, but I thought I'd give you all a taste of the mix as it stood now seeing as I'm not sure when I'll complete the new sound effects.
