Thank you for posting Danny, I can praise you for that, while i still am intending on leaving I will at least get back to you with what i think needs to happen and perhaps I will change my mind,

As for bring up Daryl what I will say about him is that he joined he bullied, harassed, spammed and generally treated everyone very badly, he would insult, cuss, spam at every opportunity, the board became a mess. It got to the point where Danny stuck perma-bans on them, and to make matters worse he had a group of friends who did the same thing, once they were banned they made an offensive website about the forums, the site got closed down but it was a very poor incident and one which should have been forgotten.

The point I was trying to make is that now the positions are kinda reversed, that Danny, RV and some others are being the bullies and the behavior is being endorsed and seemingly encouraged since Danny wants to leave the 101 one reasons topic open, plus he is also getting paranoid just because I was trying to stop the bullying, yes i went against a direct order but when your leader wants it up for the laughs it gives him does nothing but piss you off and get you angry because once upon a time, bullying would have never been tolerated, you loose faith and truth is someone you once looked up to as a good friend. I still see no reason for laughing at another members expense here. yet James was annoying but he never meant it and unlike Daryl he never did it deliberately, we can laugh at daryl because we were trying to stand up for ourselves, now I am standing up for someone who despite his issues, has shown the forum for what is becoming.

I'm not asking for everyone to change, what i am asking for is for more tolerance and respect for others, that is what the forum was all about and i feel we have lost our way with respects to that.

I am a peregrine falcon! An amazing move, for a tiny little shred of a meal. Now, we'll be bringing you some more amazing footage from that camera in later episodes. Now I'm going to catch up with that scottish fisher. Simon! Simon! There's a first going on here!! There was a duck gang bang going on-- sorry, I'm not supposed to use that language on television.

It sounds, exactly that. You just see tiny little chicks in there. It's misnomer if you like. It's actually a sedge-warmer. They're usually at the end of this tingly tangly stuff.

I still mostly agree with you but the fact remains you can ONLY argue with words, not power. That's how wars start.

I think you're a little too wound up about it. I'm not saying I wasn't at some point, but I didn't post during that time. Besides, looking over old information I think James pretty much asked for it. Other than RV being RV none of us bullied him. Then he refused to take our advice to not listen to him, which was a REALLY bad move. And up to a point he continued to ignore us. I do think they went overboard, because he did start to settle down while they kept making fun of his every post. It's a little disheartening that that was tolerated, but if it is I'm not going to be too upset about it. That's just how it is. The only reason you lost your mod powers is because you used your powers against the admin's wishes. That's more disturbing than it sounds. I had a mod on my now-dead forum that did the same things and it made me really nervous.

Remember: The internet is not a democracy. Nor is this forum. Whether we like it or not.

The internet is anarchy, with lumps of occasional totalitarianism and, if you're unlucky, democracy. Democracy generally doesn't work on the internet, it decays back to lighter particles.

Despite taking a break Ben brought this thread to my attention. I just want it to be known that I had no influence on any of the posts made that started this argument, although I will admit I displayed a little distaste for some of the issues that have been raised to other members over MSN. Other than that I've had no part, and wish to take none either.

I'm sorry but...no. The rest of us have accepted responsibility for what happened whether we feel remorse for it or not...so should you man. Example. Let's look at say, the top three posters in that "101 reasons why james p is the coolest member of the board topic".

Maybe you had no part in it to begin with, but you sure as hell jumped on the bandwagon when it got rolling.
Everyone admits responsibility for this shit now, so don't try and take the moral high ground and back out of it now when you were just as much a part of it as everyone else.

Ronnie Rowlands June 2, 2008 3:52 PM

By taking part I meant in encouraging Chris to make this thread. I had no part in that. I just wanted to clarify that, in case people think "wait Ronnie was talking about this on MSN he must have talked to Chris about it".

Well I didn't really infer that from your original posting...it's fairly obvious you had nothing to do with this since you haven't actually been mentioned until this point but, whatevers.

Ronnie Rowlands June 2, 2008 4:09 PM

Well, I couldn't be too sure. Anyway, back into hiding :P

You just say stupid things from time to time. But unlike James, you sometimes actually have something constructive to say, not just constant attention whoring.

Oh, yeah, I meant to tell you, I think I got this working. I'm pretty sure my test subject didn't just coincidentally die right as I started screwing with his monitor...

That's twice that he's gotten high praise from me.

And he thinks I hate him.

I would NEVER, EVER, EVER rejoin here! Even if my life depended on it. I'll ask you when I'd like to be deleted from the roster. Before that, I'm e-mailing Ben, Chris, Superkid. Anyone else want to apologize? I always give 2nd chances if you're being truly honest. Chris, I really appreciate this thread, your post literally brought tears to my eyes. I whole-heartedly welcome you and Ben into my group of friends!:)

EDIT: Hold on, looking at the 3 pages I missed... editing will commence shortly...

The James picking-on was funny for a while, I admit, but it got really old. I'm not sure what to do about it, personally... I just hope for his sake he's left as he can't seem to get along with us at all.

*Speechless* You may be on my side {I think...} but I'm keeping an eye on you... Picking on someone should never EVER be fun.

James, I'm only human. And this is the internet. I've been through some pretty bad drama on the internet. I've seen circles of friends be torn apart because of one person, friends of mine become enemies with a simple sentence, and I've weathered the pain that other friends took. I've swayed from side to side and said horrible things to fuel the fire. By now and it's difficult for me to care anymore.

I'm not really on anybody's side. It's not worth the effort to be. I just have opinions.

Touche... But if you had to pick a side which one would you choose? I'd like to know before I resign.

You never have to pick a side. You can just walk away. I'm notorious for what-if questions and usually enjoy answering them, but I won't answer this one. It's not worth the effort.

My opinion? I find it odd that you're still here. No, actually, I don't. You're absorbed into this and, even though it's abusive towards you you can't help but go back to rebute or find out who's on your side and who isn't. Find out whether things are going to get better for you or not. I've felt that way. Curiosity is tough to fight. But it's not worth it. You already take crap in real life don't you? Things are not going to get better for you here. I suggest for your own sake that you pack it up and leave. Just go. You have the choice, make the right one. Find some other way to contact Chris and Ben if you want to talk to them more.
