Chris' Pub quiz

Im sure the old timers on the board remember my Star Trek of many months ago :P, since i recommended people start setting up new topics, i have decided to revamp and relanuch my quiz topics, although now things will be different. And i hope you like it.

Now it will not just be Star trek, it will be a pub quiz type idea, just without the pub, although im sure Danny has something up his sleeve. But this will mean that there will be loads of questions about almost anything.

people will only be allowed one response, however, they are aloowed to edit the response between the time they post and the time I call the right answer, in case they change their minds. but they must tell me the time they edited in case someone beats them.

You are allowed to use any and all sources to find the right answer.

Each time you win, you get a rep boost, the amount of points depends on how many question you answer right. if thats possible to increase rep.

So, i hope you all like it, and if people are happy with it, post here and i will start soon. :)

Danny Stewart September 22, 2006 11:53 AM

Danny Stewart September 22, 2006 5:36 PM

No idea but good guess Ben. About the reputation bar, I can see it under the member's name. For example, mine says:

Ben Dawson (Offline)
Member

And then below that, a tiny green block indicating his reputation so far. He'll get more green blocks as his reputation goes higher.

Ross Hendrie September 23, 2006 8:48 AM

Ah ya, I see it.

When's the next question coming up?

cos I'm really looking forward to it

Danny Stewart September 24, 2006 12:00 AM

Ben, one of the rules we have around here is that double posting should be avoided -- that is, posting again after you're already the last person to post in a thread.

Moderators, please take note -- if you see double posts like this, please do me a favor and use the "Merge posts" feature in the "Moderation" menu (underneath all the posts in a thread but above the quick reply box) to correct double posts and put them into one. For edit reason, but "Merged double post" or something to indicate that that's what you've done. Thank you!

Chris Britton September 24, 2006 12:58 AM
