What foods are you addicted to?

Hi people, I'm addicted to tip tops is anyone else addicted to any type of food?

Danny Stewart November 28, 2006 11:18 AM

I've never heard of tip tops. What are those?

Also, this isn't really debate, so I've moved it to General Discussion.

Ronnie Rowlands November 28, 2006 11:20 AM

You might call them "Ice Pops."

Sam Davies November 28, 2006 11:29 AM

Yes I originally called them that but I edited it. They are like ice lollies that are really thin they are gorgous and I am not proud of my addiction but its there.

Danny Stewart November 28, 2006 11:34 AM

Mmm... I probably know what you're talking about, but we have lots of different kinds of those! :P

MI7 November 28, 2006 11:44 AM

Kentucky Fried Chicken. Especially the Hot Wings and Popcorn Chicken.

Danny Stewart November 28, 2006 11:57 AM

I used to love their popcorn chicken. But I stopped eating there once I found out about the conditions they force their chickens to live in before killing them. :(

Jez November 28, 2006 2:59 PM

Not Tip Tops but Tic Tacs for me. Hell, I've got a packet on my desk right now. That said, I only have them when I'm ill, nervous or need to freshen my breath up (I've always got a packet on me). Otherwise, I tend to live without them (being consumed - as I said, there's always a packet on me). I don't know why but they are awesome at calming my stomach down when I feel sick.

I don't really have any other food addictions that I can recall. I like particular foods but never to the extent in which I want to have them all the time.

Danny Stewart November 28, 2006 3:05 PM

That's it. I'm going out and buying a pack of Tic Tacs.

Does pure evil count as a food?

Besides that, I'm quite partial to anything with chocolate in, on or through it. Except if what it's in, on or through is absolutely horrible in itself. Like Turkish Delight. Ugh.

Speaking of chicken, I like chicken almost as much as chocolate. KFC is pretty awesome. Chickens are an inferior species. Their welfare does not concern Huuu-mans!

Yes. Yes it does.

I'm sorry for caring about animals. :P

Recurring Villain November 29, 2006 12:40 AM

As you should be, you traitor.

Ronnie Rowlands November 29, 2006 4:48 AM

Danny, you say you stopped eating popcorn chickenaftre you found out how the chickens were treated. Well not eating them isn't going to stop them being treated like that is it?

Sam Davies November 29, 2006 4:56 AM

Hey RV we should should start a business of chocolate covered chicken.

But it eases his conscience, so he can dissociate himself with them and feel good that hes not taking part in their practices.

It's probably been done in America. After all, they have pancaked-wrapped sausages... ON A STICK.

With chocolate chips. Mmmmmm, God Bless America.

*pukes*

Sam Davies November 29, 2006 10:52 AM

How can you puke at that when in my local take away shop they sell deep fried Mars Bars aswell as another selection of chocolate bars.
Now that is PUKES/RETCHING/Thrownig youself off a tall building

I didn't say I stopped eating popcorn chicken, I said I stopped eating at KFC because of how KFC treats their chickens in general. This accomplishes two things.

One, as RV put quite well:

And two, if enough people care enough about the chickens to stop eating there, they may take note and start treating them at least a little better.

Jez November 29, 2006 3:18 PM

You know the animated McDonalds logo where the "M" is filled up with a yellow liquid? That's piss and it is what they fry their food in. :)

(I have a dislike of all fast food outlets but I keep a significant amount of hatred for McDonalds. Corporate practices et al....they used to treat their staff like KFC does their chickens....apparently they've changed.....maybe....)

Danny Stewart November 29, 2006 7:24 PM

I used to hate McDonald's very much. They are better these days, and I happen to like their menu now, so I do go there. And I'd rather see humans mistreated than chickens. :P

Recurring Villain November 29, 2006 9:04 PM

I prefer Burger King (called Hungry Jack's here).

Danny Stewart November 29, 2006 9:16 PM

Is it really called that for you? I prefer Burger King as well... But... Hungry Jack's... hehe.

Recurring Villain November 29, 2006 10:10 PM

There actually used to be a few Burger Kings around, now they're all Hungry Jack's.

I think HJ must have been an Australian brand bought out by BK.

Ronnie Rowlands November 30, 2006 3:59 AM

I like burger king the best, but it's recently closed down here in llandudno. So now my fave is KFC!!!

Sam Davies November 30, 2006 10:52 AM

Nah, I prefer my subway.

Danny Stewart November 30, 2006 2:04 PM

I like Subway as well.

Ben Dawson December 1, 2006 6:45 AM

in fact, subway has only recently made their way over here in England, about a couple of years I'd say

Recurring Villain December 1, 2006 6:48 AM

Subway smells nice :P

The only time I ate there, I ate a muffin. It was the worst muffin I've ever had. And I've had a lot of muffins.

Ronnie Rowlands December 1, 2006 9:47 AM

There has been a subway in llandudno for about 10 months. My fave place for lunch is 'The Town House,' a pub, where I eat every Saturday:D

Chris Britton December 7, 2006 5:58 PM

Im, addicted to Dominoes Pizza and subway sandwiches :P im in love with them :P

Sam Davies December 8, 2006 6:13 AM

No still subway because in my local subway you watch them making it so they can't put in anything horrible like mayo or a lovely green bit of flem.

Ben Dawson December 8, 2006 7:23 AM

mayo ain't horrible

Ronnie Rowlands December 8, 2006 9:48 AM

You spelled Flem wrong, it is spelled- Phlegm.

Ronnie Rowlands December 8, 2006 12:54 PM

LOL saved you a job there have I Danny?:P

Danny Stewart December 8, 2006 1:32 PM

Indeed you have. ;)

Sam Davies December 11, 2006 9:16 AM

ahhhh what you gonna do.

Roland T. Blackviser December 11, 2006 1:29 PM

Mashed potatoes. Mashed Sweet Potatoes also good, as are yams. Stuffing.

These are the reasons I like thanksgiving. I don't give a damn about the turkey.

Also: Chinese food. I eat it almost everyday, as there is a mini-resturant on campus. They also serve plenty o' mashed potatoes here, so I'm a happy fellow.

Ronnie Rowlands December 11, 2006 1:37 PM

I eat a lot of junk food, perhaps too much, I am noticeably*putting on weight...

Recurring Villain December 11, 2006 10:04 PM

I hate mashed potatoes.

We should have a lengthy argument on the nature of mashed potatoes, Roland.

Danny Stewart December 12, 2006 12:39 PM

I like mashed potatoes. I'm on Roland's team.
