New Emoticon Requests

This was brought up in another thread, nice as out current emoticons are, I feel that we need another variation on a couple of them

1) The "Rolling eyes" emoticon. I think we also need one that shows frustration. "*sigh*, here we go again." One would suggest putting a sad face under the eyes rather than a happy one.

2) The "Wink" emoticon. The current one, to me, says "I've got my eye on you bucko." There should also be one that says "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone." Like a cheeky wink.

Hope this helps.

And The Tongue! What About The Tongue!

Ronnie Rowlands September 1, 2007 8:37 AM

Lol, Rat just got beat by the anti-caps lock. What about the tongue?

Danny Stewart September 6, 2007 5:54 PM

James is working on a new set of emoticons for the site. Once we get some replacements for the default set, we can start thinking about additional ones.

Chris Britton September 10, 2007 7:15 AM

So variations of the :P then

Jamie Minty January 6, 2008 5:05 PM

we need a mooney smiley!

Zombie threads kill babies.

A guy bearing his arse? No, we don't. Stop being foul.

I'm thinking you're one of those idiots who has 'lol' set as http://www.msnemotions.org/emoticons/uploads/lol.gif.

Amirite or amirite.

Jamie Minty January 6, 2008 5:31 PM

I would say any IM client that doesn't let idiots set commonly used words as flashing pictures is pretty good.

I imagine Apple did that on purpose.

Jamie Minty January 6, 2008 5:38 PM

I had that "lol" slideshow on windows.

You can't set emotions on msn:mac, well at least i haven't found a way to yet!

I expect you don't go on msn much, as you have no one to talk too, either that or your one of those saddo's who keeps regular checks on their friend count!

Slideshow emotions can be good for long winded stuff uch as:
GET/BACK/IN/YOUR/CARAVAN/PIKEY then a pic of a caravan and other such classics (please note RV that isn't directed at you)

Like I said, that's a good thing.

I'm on right now, I have 223 contacts and only talk to about 20 of them.

Flashing emoticons are for idiots. You, sir, are an idiot.

yes, you can.

Danny Stewart January 6, 2008 9:25 PM

MSN sucks. MSN for Mac is worse.

Ronnie Rowlands January 7, 2008 5:26 AM

I find MSN for mac is very basic and not "bloated" as you always put it. I'd have thought it was right up your alley.

http://junewon.com/images/msn_mac.jpg

Looks fairly bloated to me.

And even if it is as basic as you say, it's still a Microsoft product running on a Microsoft network and I wish no part of it.

Jamie Minty January 7, 2008 7:46 AM

I haven't looked at it close enough yet. Its so annoying you can't use webcam even though its built into the Mac!

I think theres a better version called AMSN or something like that!

That's your computer's way of saying: "You idiot, don't post your picture on the internet!"

No its a flaw with msn. A computer that can't show my face is a lonely one. A computer thst has seen my face is a happy one.

In all fairness identity thieves can't do much with a face . . . i hope.

what are 4channers?

One to add to your list would be paedo's RV. Depending on how old you are they love it. ARGH!

You'll know them when you see them.

One day i'll make an unbelievable amount of sense so that retards will be able to understand. Norms already do

I'll try my best to do that wonderful explaining now. Paedophiles like looking at children. so if they see a childs face, they get all happy inside.

and what are 4channers?

It's not children's faces that make paedo's feel happy inside. In fact, it's not even happiness it makes them feel.

You'll understand better when you're older.

Its a strange type of happiness, yes. Happiness to them but not to us.

Don't treat me like a kid, i understand.

I think you'll find paedophiles are the way they are because of an inherent unhappiness. They don't find happiness in what they do, they get satisfaction.

Well enough about paedophiles. I do understand. I don't understand you, but i dont think anyone does.

If you don't mind me asking where do you live? England or USA?

I understand you have to take criticism and i find it annyoing when people don't. But can you take criticism back?

Yes but it didn't seem to mean a thing. I'll take criticism, just stop being nasty about every little thing i say . . . its sad.

Ronnie Rowlands January 7, 2008 9:35 AM

Stop making out a child's face brings happiness to paedophiles, as though it is a good thing, you sick ****. How did pedos get into this in the first place?

Worst.Argument.Ever.

AGREED. CHANGE OF TOPIC PLEASE.
Though I personally believe a pedo is only "sick" when they are unable to actually couple with somebody they can legally do so with, and actually act on their urges.
To quote my dad(though he wasn't talking about this, he was talking about being so mad at a person you would want to kill them), It's ok to want it as long as you know you shouldn't and don't actually do it.
... and incidentally that looks a lot like my dog, I can even see him making that face.

Commenting from my PS3. Anyone else got one?

Josef Kenny January 7, 2008 11:08 AM

Nope. My friend has got one, it's like a big black blob in the living room. Scares me. With PS3's, I'd say its ok to want one, so long as you don't ever actually buy one.

I didn't buy one. it was a present. Which catagory does that fit into?

Josef Kenny January 7, 2008 11:12 AM

Someone else buying one. Which is still not a good thing. They were acting on their carnal impulses. Buying of PS3's does not have a place in our society! :P
