If the DS.com crew were the last people alive?

For those of you who have seen Red Dwarf you know that it takes place 6 million years in the future and there is only one Human being alive. So lets take that concept and mess about with it.

Thats right, if the active crew of DS.com suddenly were the last survivors of Humanity. What would we do? :) Simple enough. Danny would be the de-facto leader fo the human race. Ross would be a counsellor, RV would be our comedian. etc. So what would you think become of us if we were all that was left? ;)

Danny Stewart October 6, 2007 6:32 PM

Haha, we would be so dysfunctional it would be ridiculous. :P

I'm sure RV would love being the group comedian though. :P

Chris Britton October 6, 2007 6:34 PM

DS.com. The most dysfunctional, disassembled bunch of nerds you have ever seen. ;)

Thier mission: To reninstall Linux and have a wash.

Ben Dawson October 6, 2007 6:46 PM

...And create the perfect female.

Chris Britton October 6, 2007 6:49 PM

I would not know where to begin. I don't know how to make the nose for a start ;)

Ben Dawson October 6, 2007 6:50 PM

We'd need an artist for starters, like...people.

Superkid11 October 6, 2007 7:07 PM

I'd probably get killed by whatever ELSE is left with us long before I could do anything useful. :P

If by comedian you mean supreme leader, then yes.

Hey, Chris started it!

Recurring Villain October 6, 2007 10:01 PM

Well I'm taking over now.

And so from this point I decree that Ross most certainly shouldn't be a councilor. I'd suggest burying him somewhere. If mankind's future is in our hands, we most certainly shouldn't risk Christianity coming back again.

And a few of us eventually to buy Macs.

Would we all be left in our houses? Would we have to assemble somewhere? Would it be like Heroes? I hate heroes. Heroes is very annoying.

Jez October 7, 2007 5:57 AM

Save the HAL, save the world.

Chris Britton October 7, 2007 8:19 AM

We will NOT save HAL. We will build something less likely to rebel. DS.com 9000 ;)

Superkid11 October 7, 2007 11:25 AM

What 9000?!

It wouldn't be able to. I'd already bring in Arceusism. ;)

Ben Dawson October 7, 2007 1:54 PM

It...it looks like a...a...a POKÉMON!!!

Superkid11 October 7, 2007 1:57 PM

Yes, yes it is. ;)

Chris Britton October 8, 2007 7:54 AM

NO WAY are we having Pokemon back. :P

Josef Kenny October 8, 2007 12:58 PM

Pokemon coming back? I'd say that that was a bit

Chris Britton October 11, 2007 4:16 PM

Well quite. But we have a chance to rebuild the earth =P then mess that up.

Hamster October 24, 2007 5:48 PM

Well, we're pretty damn good at the messing it up side of things, no question.

I would have absolutely no use whatsoever, and therefore would only serve as a means of filling up space

Save for trying to instate Arceusism as our religion, that's pretty much all I'd do.

Chris Britton October 24, 2007 6:54 PM

Well we do need faith in something. But i thought we just worshpped Firefox and Linux.

What we need is educated opinions based on observable evidence.

Chris Britton October 25, 2007 2:27 AM

Yes. I forgot the blessed holy iMac. I now must whip myself. ;)

RV, coming from you that was quite good :P

Not just the iMac. I just used that as a symbol for all Apple products.

Again, not just computers. Software too. :P

Chris Britton October 25, 2007 6:05 PM

Maybe you should design software then ;) that would be so cool and appropriate :)

Superkid11 October 25, 2007 6:12 PM

Another thing we should make sure never comes back is 4chan.

If you even dare to consider iTunes in that statement, I'm coming over there to put something in a vice before attacking it with a chisel. Seriously.

Chris Britton October 26, 2007 4:48 AM

How can you put software in a chisel. You got a program designed for that? :P

I was more referring to Mac OS X and Logic, but sure, I'll dare to consider iTunes in that statement. :P

Ronnie Rowlands October 26, 2007 2:56 PM

An image board, famous for its no man's land known as "/b/". It has many other boards, porn included.
If you've never been to 4chan, you are one of the lucky ones.
