Controversy Thread

Post something controversial/outrageous/interesting here

OTHERWISE THE FORUMS WILL DIE

Only joking. They won't die. I just thought it would bump up the enthusiasm.

Superkid11 December 16, 2007 5:16 PM

I think after what me and RV said in the chatbox on shaving downstairs there's nothing more outrageous to be said. :P

I would have to agree. :P

Recurring Villain December 16, 2007 10:55 PM

Controversial: I woke up at 2:30pm today.

Danny Stewart December 17, 2007 1:13 AM

Scandalous!

That's what my dad reckons.

I didn't go to bed last night at all and I'm completely knackered. I think I may be becoming Danny, in sleep patterns at least.

Superkid11 December 17, 2007 1:22 PM

I had almost total insomnia last night. I guess I sort of slept because my memory of the night is faint, and I only remember hearing the rain sound CD restart once. Same thing happened last sunday night, though my memory is clearer of that one and I know that I at least slept some.
Despite this I managed to function perfectly today. Maybe I just got too much sleep over the weekend.

Josef Kenny December 17, 2007 2:10 PM

I suggest buying a Juno-6 and a guitar amp with lots of reverb. Far more effective than any Rain CD. Stay away from them osscilators, stay with the white noise.

Recurring Villain December 17, 2007 3:32 PM

I went to bed at 3am, had a short dream about running away from cops by using parkour, and woke up at about 5 and here I am on the internet.

Sleep is for babies.

Ben Dawson December 17, 2007 4:36 PM

I've raped virgin corpses.

And you know why they were virgins when they died?

All that bloat wasn't just from decomposing.

Now I suggest we talk about something less ****ed.

Ian Stewart December 18, 2007 9:14 AM

Random fact: I haven't slept in 28 hours.

Ronnie Rowlands December 18, 2007 11:27 AM

I disagree with some of the things people say on this forum and I enjoy posting rebuttals, but not when I am reprimanded for it.

I agree. I've never seen you do anything wrong aside from speak your mind. We never bag on RV for that yet you get threatened with bans.
I admit I've held it in but I absolutely cannot ignore such unfair treatment.

Jez December 18, 2007 5:59 PM

Debate and rebuttals are for democrat pussies. Now gimme my Cold War restart button.

They already pressed the updated version: the 'War on Terror' button.

Jez December 19, 2007 12:56 PM

Oh shit. That's the version where nobody "bad" actually has a nuke, but the guys with nukes say they do.....

It was so much simpler in the first version. Everybody had a nuke or 500 and we all knew where we stood in the underground bunkers we lived in. :(

Chris Britton December 19, 2007 1:30 PM

But surely when the New Soviet Union arises each democratic home shall have it's own Nuke :P

Putin wants to keep them to himself.

Chris Britton December 19, 2007 7:41 PM

I can explain that discrepancy:

Danny + RV

BEST FRIENDS FOR LYFE <3

See? I told you there was a perfectly reasonable explanation.

Chris Britton December 21, 2007 1:32 PM

and nicely summed up in an equation too :P

Jez December 21, 2007 4:09 PM

Actually, that's an expression, but don't try to lose sleep over it. I won't.

He just needs to add an = sign.

Recurring Villain December 22, 2007 6:16 AM

I'd like to see Chris lose sleep over it.

Because then he would post a long topic about how he'd been losing sleep over it and everyone would be like 'ohhh poor baby' and I'd say I didn't give a shit and that would make my day.

Did you really need to spell that out? Being a bit of a hypocrite, aren't we? :P

I think RV should have written what he had written because I enjoy reading what RV has to say. It really brightens up my day and makes my whole life more bearable because I'm emo.

You complained about Chris going on and on about his thoughts and feelings and then proceeded to do it yourself.

I didn't notice Chris pining for sympathy... at least not in the post you were referencing. Just explaining something stressful going on does not automatically mean you're asking for sympathy.

The way he does it implies it. It's like he thinks the forum is his personal blog.

And he still uses stuperifically large amounts of ****ing emoticons which if he was next to me would have forced me to lynch him by now.
