I'm discovering that Murray has used music from Transformers in the Mid-Series Trailer!

A really good bit of techno, yar. I love the upbeat stuff like that. :D Takes about 2 minutes in to really get going though.

Recurring Villain June 6, 2008 12:21 AM

I'm listening to the Independence Day soundtrack because it's fucking epic and David Arnold is the shizz.

'Fingertips' by They Might Be Giants. So any TMBG fan on here will know that I am in fact listening to a body of songs.

Jez July 13, 2008 3:39 PM

Kody, I'm loving that first track you posted. :P Sort of Marco V meets Ayla meets Cosmic Gate....but it works! ;)

Listening to right now.....erm, that first track Kody posted.

Listening to next: Ernesto vs Bastian - Dark Side of the Moon

Megan July 14, 2008 1:31 PM

Lots and lots of David Bowie. 'Starman' on The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust, at the moment.

I've been trying to download The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars for at least 4 months now...

I'm extremely lazy when it comes to finding good torrents of things :P

Lazy bum! :P

Hmmm...well I downloaded it quite recently along with a bunch of his other Studio Albums. Maybe you could find a torrent of his discography and then just download Ziggy and nothing else. I've found that a lot of the time it's much easier to find good torrents of Discographies than it is to find good torrents of individual albums. Especially if the person/band has a really large body of work. Bowie would certainly apply.

Good luck! :D

Team G - G-String

And Bowie pwns. I know the words to most of his songs because I am a Starman.

He's not downloading the theme, he's downloading the first series. Can you not read?

Kuffdam - Pod Damage Episode 2 (of... a few)

Kuffdam's (of Kuffdam & Plant fame) podcast. It's one of the best trance and electronic podcasts out there, in my opinion. Quite often, it's better than Tiesto's Club Life! ;)

And this mixset has just gone into DJ Tiesto - Lethal Industry :D:D:D *WIN*

That's saying a lot, I need to go check this out now.

Jez July 14, 2008 5:50 PM

Haha. It depends on what you like. Kuffdam does mix sets, where's Tiesto does mainly Radio show-like podcasts, and occasionally (once a month I think) releases a recorded mix-set as his podcast.

I do love my mix sets more than hearing a DJ's (even the God that is Tiesto) voice every 8 or 12 minutes. ;)

Another good podcast is Jordon Waeles' "Trance Mutation". Infact, this is my favourite. It's better than sex sometimes. :)

Josef Kenny July 16, 2008 10:35 AM

Well that was rather refreshing. Nothing beats spam for a day like today.

James P. July 16, 2008 3:52 PM

Thank you. I was looking at Wikiquote and I saw that under the quotes for Planet of Fire and I remembered the scene. I said, "This is an EPIC WIN quote!" and put it there.

The DWAD stuff is updated continuously. I will alert people if any of my stories gets into the queue.

I am listening to What About Everything.

Jez July 22, 2008 3:27 AM

NOW: bLiNd - JENOVA Celestial ("J-E-N-O-V-A" OCRemix).
Linkage: http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01636/

Seriously awesome trance based on the best colection of melodies ever.

Next: bLiNd, Leifo - Fading Entity ("Listen to the Cries of the Planet" / "Can You Hear The Planet Cry" OCRemix)

Linkage: http://www.ocremix.org/remix/OCR01620/

More seriously awesome trance based on a great melody or two, but with some good guitar to make a substantial fusion of genres.

bLiNd = Epic WIN.

Josef Kenny July 22, 2008 4:17 AM

Paul McCartney - 1882

Ronnie Rowlands July 22, 2008 2:17 PM

James Wood pres. Wandi - Kinetic Caper (Original Mix)

This is a really awesome and original trance track and I recommend you listen even if you're not into "regular" trance. It's certainly breaks boundaries and I'd love to hear more stuff like this.

EPICITY RATING = 100/100

Oh, and it's also really hard to find a free download of, but you can listen to the whole track here: http://www.imeem.com/istabyou/music/...r_original_mix

You're welcome.
