Curse?

Found this while lurking on another forum:
Quote:

A girl died in 1933 by a homicidal murderer. He buried her in the ground when she was still alive. The murdered chanted, "Toma sota balcu" as he buried her. Now that you have read the chant, you will meet this little girl. In the middle of the night she will be on your ceiling. She will suffocate you like she was suffocated. If you post this, she will not bother you. Your kindness will be rewarded.
Don't know how much is behind it, but I know one thing about it now: if its true then I'm safe from it now. :P
Has anyone else run aross it?

I've never heard of this before. Kind of creepy and I don't believe a word of it, but you can never be too careful in this world, so here goes anyway. :P

I Googled it and I have reason to believe it was just something made up for the purposes of this story.

Also, by the way, I think the post implies that you're supposed to post it elsewhere, not just again in the same place you read it. And if that's the case, we're all still screwed. :P

Ronnie Rowlands February 24, 2006 9:17 AM

Right, im the only one who hasnt quoted it. So lets see if i get suffocated tonight.

I'm not superstitous, because i know that its unlucky :P

Danny Stewart February 24, 2006 9:18 AM

So in effect, your reasons for not being superstitious actually technically makes you superstitious. :P

If Ronn disappears from the forums come tomorrow, then we'll know we were right to quote the post. ;)

Ronnie Rowlands February 24, 2006 9:23 AM

I'll keep a shotgun by my bedside just in case :-)

Danny Stewart February 24, 2006 10:20 AM

Now you're talking. ;)

Ross Hendrie February 24, 2006 6:51 PM

lol No cause then when you're sleeping the murderer creeping in would just pick that up and use it as you can't stop him if you're asleep :P . Nah best keep a weapon under the pillow.

Danny Stewart February 25, 2006 1:03 AM

We'll all find out soon enough. :P

Ronnie Rowlands February 25, 2006 4:31 AM

Right people. Here I am, unscratched, i was in bed at midnight and up this morning at six thirty. I actually slept very well. So there was no worries there
I didnt even sleep with a weapon under my pillow. So there, a complete load of superstituos rubbish/garbage.

Ronnie Rowlands February 25, 2006 11:02 AM

This post is a shrine to Ronnie Rowlands, AKA, Ronn, who tragically is still with us. Our thoughts and feelings go out to his family at this time. :P

Danny Stewart February 26, 2006 10:34 AM

Hehehehehe... Well, we're glad you're still here, Ronn. :P

Ronnie Rowlands February 26, 2006 11:14 AM

Yep, here as always. Danny you took so long to post that last message i left in this thread, i was beggining to think that you had encountered the eerie strangler

You had me worried there :(

Danny Stewart February 26, 2006 5:04 PM

Nope, I'm still here. Sorry to alarm you. :P

Chris Britton February 27, 2006 4:07 AM

If Death comes near me, im going out the way i came in, Kicking and screaming. :P

Danny Stewart February 27, 2006 7:02 AM

Just hope it doesn't get to you first.

Ross Hendrie February 27, 2006 12:31 PM

Oh well guess that was all over nothing. Glad you're still with us Ronn.

From now on im going to stop worrying when I see a single magpie and stuff like that because it's all nonsense.
