Doctor Who 2x11 - "Fear Her"
Plot Summary
When the TARDIS lands in 2012, the Doctor plans to show Rose the London Olympics. But on a nearby housing estate, a desperate mother is hiding her daughter's unearthly powers. Can the Doctor defeat the danger nestling at the heart of an ordinary British household? Danny's Review Eh... Didn't know what to expect from this one. It was average at best. Had some great moments -- David Tennant did well. Overall, though, like I said, average at best. 5/10. The trailer though... Go to the other thread! |
Danny can you tell us why you only gave it 5/10? What was wrong with it?
|
Yeah I thought it was a good ep.
|
I don't know. It just felt like average fare to me. Rethinking it I might give it a 6/10 but it's too late now.

I thought it was a nice episode, i vote 8 out of 10 i was irritated by the girl and her mum, the acting form them was annoying, but it liked it apart form that, it was creepy, and very interesting, a nice improvement form last week, and it was very funny when the Doctor picked up the torch, a bit of tounge in cheek there, something i expected oddly enough, and it has set us up nicely for next week, Bring on the finale!

My 7 year old brother was in tears when he heard that voice from Chloe's wardrobe. :) bless

Meh, i would have kneed him in the privates and said "Only the good die young." :P
|
I think he means the guy in the cupboard, not Ronn's brother btw. :P
|
Thats what i ment :)
|
On second thought, this episode deserved a 6/10 or possibly a 7/10. It was better the second viewing. I think the first viewing was majorly overshadowed by the huge "HOLY $#!T" trailer for "Army of Ghosts."

The trailer was awesome, i can't wait! :)
and as i said, i thought this was a nice return to form, the bit when the Docter lights the torch was hillarious, i should have expected it :P |
