Favorite Star Trek Movie

Hey Everyone, what's your favorite Star Trek movie?

Danny Stewart May 14, 2004 7:23 PM

Glad you made it a public poll. For favorites, it can't hurt to know what other people think, especially when they don't say it in their posts. My favorite movie is Nemesis. It really struck a chord with me when I first saw it.

David Carter May 14, 2004 7:25 PM

My favorite line out of all the movies is when Kirk says, "KHAN!!!!" So I had to pick Wrath of Khan.

Danny Stewart May 14, 2004 7:26 PM

I don't blame you. It's the only movie I have the Director's Edition of. :)

David Carter May 14, 2004 7:30 PM

Like my quote in my signature?

Danny Stewart May 14, 2004 7:31 PM

Heh, yes, I do. :)

David Carter May 14, 2004 7:32 PM

How did you get your Ares signature like that?

Danny Stewart May 14, 2004 7:51 PM

I made a small video clip to show you how to do it.

My computer is retarded, It says it doesnt have the right decompressor or something.

Danny Stewart May 14, 2004 7:55 PM

Try playing it in another player. What players do you have? Windows Media Player, RealOne Player, QuickTime?

David Carter May 14, 2004 7:56 PM

All of those. Just tell me what to do.

Danny Stewart May 14, 2004 8:00 PM

  1. Save the file onto your computer.
  2. Open Windows Media Player.
  3. Click File > Open.
  4. Find the file on your computer and open it.
  5. If it fails, open RealOne Player.
  6. Click File > Open.
  7. Find the file on your computer and open it.
  8. If it fails, open QuickTime.
  9. Click File > Open.
  10. Find the file on your computer and open it.
  11. If it still doesn't work, then your computer really is retarded. http://www.usstetryon.com/forums/ima...ies/tongue.gif
EDIT: Scratch the DivX Player if you already read this, it definitely will not work with DivX Player.

David Carter May 14, 2004 8:03 PM

Then my computer is officially retarded, It didnt work. Tell me in a pm or post.

David Carter May 15, 2004 7:02 AM

I have the whole set of TOS movies on VHS. The boxes have parts of a picture on them and if you have the whole set, you can see what it is. (It's no Director's Edition but it's something)

Datol Col May 15, 2004 7:32 AM

I also like The Wrath of Khan. Nemesis is my second favorite.

David Carter May 15, 2004 7:36 AM

My second is The Voyage Home. Maybe I just like saying "Nuclear Wessels."

Danny Stewart May 15, 2004 7:50 AM

Yes, I don't have the box set, but I have I, II, IV, and VI on storebought VHS so I was aware of the picture. I just never got it completed. I have III, V, and VII on home video, and I have II, VIII and X on DVD. The only movie I don't have is Insurrection.

David Carter May 15, 2004 8:02 AM

I'm probably going to buy all of them on DVD soon.

Brad Black June 6, 2004 2:17 PM

Nemesis in my opinion was the best one they made.

Danny Stewart June 6, 2004 2:29 PM

I'm forced to agree with you there, Brad. BTW, isn't it interesting that no one has voted for anything other than TWOK and Nemesis?

Current tally: TWOK 4, Nemesis 2.
