In part one: With a group of Wraith hive ships on the way to Atlantis, the team searches for a place to flee and a way to destroy the city. McKay leads a team to try and activate the Ancients' orbital weapons platform.

In part two: A new military contingent from Earth is sent to take command of Atlantis and defend it from the impending Wraith attack.

What did everyone think of "The Siege?" Questions, comments? Anything at all!

Well i must say i wasnt very impressed by i- IT WAS EXPLOSIVE, absolutely amazing, best episode of Atlantis to date. I really loved the battle between the Marine corps and the Wraith darts, with the whole rail guns and 50 cals it was just so cool. I hated the ending right enough. Sheppard about so go on a suicide run, Teyla missing, Weir, McCay and Beckett all about to be overrun by Wraith, Col. Everett dead, AA gunners being overwhelmed and no doubt beamed up, and Lt. Ford and co. surrounded by Wraith.

And then, "TO BE CONTINUED..."

Yeah, we all hate that. But it was an amazing episode, incredibly good!

AHHHH Cliff hangers... well.. it always is. What i don't understand is why General O'neill send Marines... Hello?~ totally different division of the military!.. They should have send SG teams... and explained the new weapons.. that they were firing at the Wraith Darts... The Daedulus.. Can't wait to see that ship.. Probably the X-302-2. Prometheus project ship two... Or it could be a brand new design. Hopefully it will have enough power to destroy the Hive Ships.. or at least be strong enough to Reach Atlantis... lol

Unoftunately the Daedalus probably won't be anything special, it's just the same as the Prometheus.

No, it will be special. As Carter said, it'll be the Prometheus except with all the advanced technologies automatically integrated from the beginning. And Jon, you said the X-302-2. Wouldn't it be the X-303-2?

Wouldn't it be the X-304, as i know its almost the same as Prometheus, but i think Carter said it was more advanced than Prometheus at the start of Moebius, so possibly that could be taken as if it's a different class of ship.

yeah sorry about that. i keep thinking that the X-303 are the new airforce semi gliders.

But the problem is that the Human's Hyperdrive is a lot slower than Asgards and it took them a good 12ish hours to tow the Prometheus to the Ex-Asgard homeworld in another galaxy. It would take the Daedalus even longer than that!

PS* Remember. Although The Prometheus does have an Asgard Hyperdrive engine it is no where close to A Current Asgard ship's hyperdrive.

It's the X-302's that are the semi-Gliders. And Colonel Everett said it'll take the Daedalus, fitted with Asgard hyperdrive, about four days to reach Atlantis.

They reverse engineered the Asgard Hyperdrive, the Daedalus has the same type of one as the Prometheus.

Are you sure? I don't remember. I don't think they specifically referred to the Prometheus on Atlantis. I know Carter was talking about it at the beginning of "Moebius, Part 1."

Yeah that's the part i was meaning, she said it had Asgard beam and hyperdrive technology.

Very difficult, you'll love the last few 5 episodes of the season which are all in one massive, explosive ark!!!
