Doctor Who Caption Contest
 

Here's a fun little game to pass the time. Let's create captions for Doctor Who images! We'll pick a good image from the BBC site, post it here on DannyStewart.com, and let people come up with captions to go with the image. We'll pick the best few entries, vote on them, and maybe come up with a reward for the person who wins! Sounds like fun, doesn't it?

I admit, I got the idea from a thread on Outpost Gallifrey. So if I'm stealing their idea, why not steal their image, too? :D

Im sorry what is it that you mean by captioning? lol Maybe you should start Danny.

Come up with an amusing caption to go with the picture. Here's an example from Outpost Gallifrey:

"The Daleks' game of musical chairs ended inconclusively."

Here's another:

Dalek 1: "Wait... I thought I was Bad Wolf?"

I don't want to give too many away, but you just come up with a funny sentence or two describing what's going on in the picture or what one of the Daleks (or all of them) is saying.

"Where did everyone go?" - The Daleks thought it'd be fun to sneak up on the Doctor, Rose and Jack... but the time-travellers' had already legged it.

Hilarious! Anyone else want to give it a try? It's not hard. :)

The Daleks waited patiently for the Garbage truck to arrive, dradng what had been stuffed into them during the Time war.

Or: Dalek 1 "Is this the luxuray yacht we were promised in the time war?"

Or: the Daleks wathced as Davros came out of his shell, wondering if this was his version of a Striptease.

All the ones so far are humorous. Here is my attempt:

Daleks: "The human made chairs are not suited for Dalek design. We cannot reach the controls. Ex-ter-min-ate! Ex-ter-min-ate! Ex-ter-min-ate!"

Good! Not as funny but still perfectly valid. I actually quite liked that.

Dalek 1: "It is the Doctor, he must be EXTERMINATED"

Dalek 2: "Hang on, who's that he's with"

Dalek 1: "That is Rose Tyler, his assistant"

Dalek 3: "Woah, she's hot"

Dalek 2: "YEAH!!!"

Dalek 1: (to Rose on a monitor) "Come to Daddy"

Dalek 3: (to Rose on a monitor) "Oh yeah, you know you want it"

Cyberman: "You will be deleted"

Dalek 1: You are a year early, come back next year"

Cyberman: "sorry...........WOAH, who is that?"

Dalek 1: "That is Rose Tyler"

Cyberman: "Isn't she fit?"

All three Daleks: "OH YEAH!!!"
