"Lonely Horizon"
 

I thought you all might be interested in hearing an independent piece I've done. I was stuck somewhere and bored the other night so I began coming up with a melody in my head, and then played it out and toyed with it on the keyboard. Later, when I finally got back home, I wrote the whole thing up on my computer, and I'm quite proud of how it turned out. I call it "Lonely Horizon" -- it came to me during early stages of writing it out.

Very nice. That's a great melody that builds up beautifully. Towards the start, it actually reminds me of "Divide" by Tiamat and it does sound slightly gothic. :)

It's not over-egged either, just right in length, although the ending is slightly cheesey. It sounds like the type of song that would be hard to end any differently though. :P

it's a very beautiful peice, really relaxing. The sort of thing that sets a relaxing atmosphere when you here it.
