What a finale! This was great! :D
The TARDIS materialisation at the very end made me excited and happy! I'm supposing this is where the last three episodes of series three tie-in. Ooh, I can't wait! :D |
These episodes were clearly the best of the series! Filled with emotion. Brilliant. I see we had the right theory in there somewhere about the name thing! Did anyone notice that the rift machine looked a bit like the shaft above the TARDIS console?
Also, I wonder if the part at the end has to do with Jack ending up in Doctor Who again? |
sounds very possible, why else would we hear the Tardis there. The Doctors hand glowing had me curious.
I agree, what a season finale, RTD didn't write them but the people who did deserve awards. Mind, Jack's death in the end was almost convincing, if it wasn't for the fact that he's returning in Doctor Who and the next season of Torchwood (where I've heard he will be having nude scenes >looks of utter shock by an appauled Ronn<). They were wonderfully written, I can't wait until he returns in Doctor Who, just another 5 and a half months (Doctor Who will start in about 4 months, but as Jack is returning towards the end of next season, it's about 5 and a half months). Best episodes yet, Brilliant vote by me. |
They were both good eps, certainly worth watching. I was convinced that the Doctor would play a role in the final episode, one way or another. :D

makes it all the more enjoyable once he returns, but think about it, the end of the last episode took place in an episode of Doctor Who that at the very least is only just being made.

you idn't know he was returning? How can that be possible

I don't go around looking for spoilers. I like to watch programmes for the first time without knowing that [x] is going to do [y] before finding [z] and removing the threat of [d]. You should try it one day, makes programmes much more enjoyable when you don't know anything about it.

I'd like to be oblivious but it's nice to have something to fill in the gaps between seasons :P (Especially here where it doesn't come out until like 20 years after everyone else has seen it). |
Well, now I've finally seen it, and I have a few brief comments to make.
First of all, that was the best damn set of Torchwood episodes I've ever seen. Second of all, the scene at the end. ZOMFG. No more need be said. Third of all, after seeing it, this definitely should have been two separate polls. The episodes are connected loosely at best. |
Enjoy your helltrap ladies.

enjoy your blissful ignorance of Torchwood

Apparently the entire next series will be more racy so it's not just Jack who I expect will be getting his clothes off.
As for not looking for spoilers. Remember, that in Soviet Russia, spoilers find you! |

more racy eh, here that RONN, more RACY. Mmm, yes.

Stop antagonising him (even though it is funny :P). You wouldn't antagonise a snake would you? :D
