I wish I had a more original thread title...

...But I don't. Hello all, I'm new, yadda yadda yadda.
As far as Doctor Who goes, I've been a massive fan of the latest 2 series, but am much too young to remember the older episodes, and have refrained from watching them in fear that they might not have aged well.
I gather people tend to post a "I'm new" thread then vanish without a trace?
So, I wouldn't want to give you the satisfaction, so I'll be the first to say...

"OH NO YOU DIDNT" - Edit from RV

But I probably will. For at least, oooh, 5 posts anyway.

Howdy, stay safe. I haven't seen many of the older programmes either, but that's less for fear of lack of aging, more for laziness

welcome to the site, hope you enjoy your stay...and you don't know what you're missing, especially with Tom Baker and Peter Davison (two of my favorites, along with David Tennant). Nice picture, I've seen that Dalek in the Doctor Who productions artwork magazine (which is VERY rare outside of england, and I have got it I'm proud to say).
Well anyway, have a good time...Where about are you from?

Voodoo Chile February 21, 2007 2:13 PM

Liverpool, unfortunately.

Ben Dawson February 21, 2007 2:31 PM

Tom Baker was born in Liverpool

Yeah, I tend to have verbal diarrhea every now and then.

Welcome back to the forums! :P

Sorry I'm late in welcoming you, but welcome! It's good to have you here. Oh, and I recommend you do watch some old Doctor Who episodes. They may not all have aged well, but it's still the best damn show around, and you're missing out by not watching them. I own a complete collection of all Doctor Who DVDs out right now. ;)

Ronnie Rowlands February 22, 2007 1:00 PM

Yes. If you want them, just send the cheque straight to me, Ronnie .C Rowlands, of Rowland's castle, Llandudno.

Pity, really. The only person to join for ages who can actually speak legible English is a dolt.

Alright, now, RV, let's try and remain calm, shall we? :P
