Wii60.

Sony phails.

Jammy Jason March 2, 2007 9:09 AM

360 because the Ps3 looks so bad and has had alot of bad comments from the Critics yet i will give the Ps3 ago. But Xbox 360 my favourite.

Recurring Villain March 2, 2007 9:02 PM

The great thing about the Xbox360 is that you don't have to pay for the stuff you don't want. I don't need a wireless adapter, we have a wired network. I don't need HD-DVD because I buy consoles to play games (surprise, surprise). Collectively that saved me $400 AU in comparison to the PS3 where you don't have any choice at all.

Sony grew too sure of itself because of the strength of it's previous consoles and decided, instead of making a quality product, to force their proprietary HD-Disk format on the leagues of people they assumed would buy the PS3. They thought their brand strength would save them, but it isn't.

Most "hardcore" console gamers understand that Sony is full of shit, and have gone with the 360 (or Wii60, if they're rich). Casual people who once thought "PlayStation" was interchangeable with "Console" are buying the Wii in droves. What does Sony have? A Blu-Ray player with no games worth buying the console for, a tacked-on online service that will probably be barely utilized and a controller with a last-ditch attempt to counter the Wii without any Rumble at all.

I would strongly discourage anyone buying the PS3 so that when the PS4 comes, Sony don't try any shit like this again. I don't want Sony to be wiped off the face of the Earth, they just need to learn a little lesson about business.

I'm not gonna get one, they're expensive, and suck REALLY badly.

Appearance is hardly a valid reason to discount a console.

Anyway, the PS3 looks more like a grill than a toaster. :P

If you're going to buy a console based on how it looks, go for the Wii. The Wii is hotness.

Every generation of consoles are better than the old generations.

However hard it is to believe. remember playing on the PSone and thinking that the graphics, with their hexagonal and jagged bodies were "teh bomb?"

Recurring Villain March 7, 2007 4:17 AM

I remember playing Goldeneye on N64 and thinking it was 'teh bomb'.

N64 > PSone 4EVA

Ronnie Rowlands March 7, 2007 5:02 AM

Goldeneye, despite being so old, is still pretty damn playable, don't you think? Most modern Bond games have tried to replicate the success of that game. I can remember from the Playstaion, playing games such as Medievil, Crash Bandicoot, and Tekken! Anyone else here play Tekken?

Recurring Villain March 7, 2007 5:46 AM

Perfect Dark, Ocarina of Time, Jet Force Gemini...

:D

Jez March 7, 2007 5:48 AM

Crash Bandicoot is God.

Sam Davies March 7, 2007 5:48 AM

Ocarina of Time was one of the greatest games ever and goldeneye god that was good.

Danny Stewart March 7, 2007 1:30 PM

I still play Goldeneye on a regular basis on my PC, yes.

Sam Davies March 8, 2007 5:57 AM

I didn't know you could get it on PC. I know its a bit of a stupid question but is it online/

Recurring Villain March 8, 2007 6:33 AM

It's a ROM run through an Emulator.

Wiki them.
