Beatboxing

Hey does anyone like beatboxing. I wouldn't say i'm a massive fan but I restpect the people that can do it I think it requires a great amount of skill.

Ronnie Rowlands March 12, 2007 10:03 AM

I vomit every time I see them do it on the fruit pastil advert.

Sam Davies March 12, 2007 10:07 AM

Yeah that annoys me that advert there is a number of things you can do besides chew with a fruit pastille you can stick them to things, use them as ptrojectiles with a mini catapult, stand on them, jump on them, spit them out in disgust, stick them to cats, throw them out of a window, throw them out of a different window, swallow them hole, practice football with them, throw them at your enemies, offer them to friends even though its already been in your mouth, play snooker with them the list is endless. But nevertheless beatboxing is a skill.

Danny Stewart March 12, 2007 12:27 PM

I hate beatboxing and regard people who devote time to it as lowlifes.

Jez March 12, 2007 2:33 PM

I can beat box for about half a minute at a time. Then I have to wipe the saliva off my hands. As such, I don't bother about beat boxing that much, other than when I'm doing it for a joke (in which case, half a minute is far too long anyway).

I can listen to a beat boxer if he's (never come accross a decent female beat boxer) good. But only when I've no choice.

Real drums > someone spitting into their hand.

If you think someone spitting into their hand has 'skill' then you've obviously never seen a real drummer. It's funny 'cause they think fart noises sound like drums. Infidels.

Ben Dawson March 13, 2007 9:23 AM

sorry, but I reckon that REAL drumming requires WAY more skill.

Danny Stewart March 13, 2007 11:54 AM

Real drums require infinitely more skill, and sound a lot better too. Beatboxing is a joke.

Exactly. Thank you, RV.

Ronnie Rowlands March 14, 2007 3:28 AM

Re-read that sentence, turn around six times, and re-read it again.

Ronnie Rowlands March 14, 2007 4:54 AM

It was a joke :P You're worse than Ben :p

Sam Davies March 14, 2007 5:03 AM

I am at yours a lot Daz. But you've got to say that people like Rahzel have got an incredible amount of skill as they can both beatbox and sing AT THE SAME TIME!

Your joke was almost as bad of a joke as Beatboxing is.

No I don't.

Sam Davies March 14, 2007 5:10 AM

Can you beatbox and sing at the same time. Come on Daz you know what i'm talking about back me up here.

Recurring Villain March 14, 2007 5:13 AM

I can compose and publish complete tracks without so much as opening my mouth I'm that good.

Sam Davies March 14, 2007 5:16 AM

Yes but thats where the skill comes in the fact that these people don't need instruments or anything else.

Recurring Villain March 14, 2007 5:16 AM

And that's why the music they make sounds like shit.
