You all have probably noticed by now that the site has returned to the previous style and design. For a lot of reasons, I feel the new design was a bit of a failure. I think with some (considerable) work it could have been made to fit the site, but as the saying goes, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it," and this style certainly isn't broke. We rushed into something we weren't prepared for, and the result was substantially less than I expected it would be. I've come to view this existing style as the perfect style for the site, and I don't feel a need to change it at this point in time.

We do however have a new layout, which I've been meaning to do for a while, so I hope you still enjoy the changes on the site as they're being made. I would like to sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to the site's members, and assure you all that normal operation should resume immediately. Thank you all for being so patient. :)

And I was just getting used to it, too. =< Oh well, I was feeling kind of nostalgic for the first layout.

I see you're also back to using David Tennant in your avatar... like... how many of us do too? :P (funny thing is I almost used that picture for my avatar on the Questionable Content*webcomic* forums. =P But I went with what I have here.)

Yeah, I know what you mean. The new design would have taken weeks worth of work to make fit. I hope you understand.

Dominic Glynn may be stopping by here soon. I didn't want to scare him by having the group picture as my avatar. :P :rolleyes:

Damn, I quite liked the new skin too. Btw, the new posts thing on the front page has disappeared. That was how I viewed new posts, is there any chance of it returning?

Again, I apologize. It simply wasn't working anywhere near as well as I'd hoped. It's not removed completely, so there's a (slim) chance we may go back to it in the future.

Ronn is correct. Look at the bar on top.

I think Ross was referring to the one that is on the bottom of the main page, the stats lists.

Oh, that. I turned that off... I didn't know anyone used it, and I thought it was hard to maintain. I'll consider reinstalling it.

EDIT: This has been put back. It's a new version too, so there are some nice new features.

Ah, excellent. Yes, the Stats bar was what I was meaning. That's how I check for new posts, so I did miss it when I saw that we had reverted to the old skin. Thanks for re-installing. :)

Site looks sexy now, but I'd appreciate if you blocked the Who forum sometime Danny. I can still see THINGS.

My favorite bit has to be that Episode disscussion bar added to the top of the forums, neat idea :)

I thought that looked great as well.
