Equipment for a new theme

First of all, It's with great honour to welcome you to the forums, this is a real pleasure to actually speak with the great man himself.

As this is the "Ask Dominic Glynn" forum, I'll start the Q&A.

1. If you had the chance to do the Doctor Who theme again, what sort of equipment would you use?

Hi Ben

Thx for the question.
Given the chance to do it again I'd probably use a lot of sampling - EXS24 in Logic is my usual sampler. I'm really interested in manipulating sampled sound/found sound and mixing this up with electronics and synthesis. For fun I'd probably use some of the same synths I used for my original version too.

Thanks for the answer, I often wonder how the people who realized the theme then would do it now, it isn't very often that I get the chance to ask. I'm a musician myself, and I know how fun the Doctor Who theme can be, I've come up with some things but nothing I'm overly too proud of (unlike Danny).
But thanks all the same.
