Apple iPod Nano

I'm proud to say that I bought my first Apple product yesterday...an iPod Nano (5th Generation).
So far, I'm really impressed with the features, absolutely amazing.
And the memory capabilities, WOW. I have to say, the size is bloody EPIC (BASH BOOM WALLOP)!
I have got more than double what would have filled my previous MP3 player on the iPod, and it literally hasn't even taken up 1% of the iPod's memory.
I must say, this is a big converter for me to switch over to Apple, I know I'll never be able to convince my mum to switch over from Microsoft, but when I get my own computer, it'll be a mac ;).

Nano's do not have a 5th Generation Lol

Ben Dawson January 23, 2008 6:14 AM

Well, they do in my head at least (Doctor 5 and all, there are 5 week days, keeping up the 5's...fifth generation) ;).

Congratulations, Ben! Welcome to the wonderful world of Apple!

Crunchy, juicey and full of flavour.

I discovered I can get one for free with my MBP apparently.

I'll probably just sell it.

Why? They're great.

THE best portable music player, iPods seriously are the best, no question, no argument.

Chris Britton January 24, 2008 1:34 PM

iPods are like the Amy Lee of music players. beautiful to look at, wonderful to listen too, turns heads when people see them and does not do anything outrageous. Stunning.

Ben Dawson January 24, 2008 2:43 PM

EXACTLY, well put mate.

Chris Britton January 24, 2008 3:06 PM

Both of them are also quite modest too but know how to get your attention.

I don't usually use a portable music player anyway.

Nor did I until I got an iPod. Now I can't put it down.

Ben Dawson January 25, 2008 4:02 PM

Yeah, same here. If I can, I'll do everything in household life listening to mine (god I sound domestic).

I'd prefer to be able to hear it if I'm about to be hit by a car, y'know?

QFT.
That and listening to music while driving a car is like having somebody jabbering next to you. It's distracting and may wind up with your car lodged in a destroyed oil truck and your head and your legs being miles apart.

Boo hoo. Pause it while crossing the street. That's hardly a reason not to own one at all.

Chris Britton January 26, 2008 7:19 AM

The amount of people with iTunes at Uni is astounding, literally hundreds of playlists to link too :D

Superkid11 January 26, 2008 12:45 PM

My mom doesn't leave the house with her iPod yet she's addicted to it. :P So there may be something in owning one anyway.
