Are you going to make l33t apps?

Danny Stewart March 7, 2008 12:04 AM

I would love to. We'll see what happens once I start learning Objective-C. (And once the massive 2.1 GB iPhone SDK finishes downloading...)

Huge congrats!!

Is this something you're going to be paid for or are you gonna just be making freeware?

Thanks, but no congratulations are necessary. If you wish, you can go to http://developer.apple.com/iphone and register to become an iPhone developer yourself.

Let's wait until I start working on it first. :P

In all likelihood, my apps will just be hobbies and never see release. But depending on how useful any such potential apps might be, I certainly wouldn't be against releasing them commercially.

I was going to tell my Mum to download what you make, lol. Show her how awesome your skills are. :D Shes the only one with an iPhone at the moment.

I would assume he would put them on Torrent if he wanted to put them out for free.

Absolutely. There is no charge for developers wanting to release iPhone applications for free, or for users to download them.

Ones that don't take advantage of specific iPhone technologies (camera, phone, etc.) will.
