Oh, I remember the last time I had the flu... I couldn't sleep because it hurt to lay down, and I couldn't stand up because that made me need to puke. And my stepdad didn't believe me and I had to do chores. Not the best 3 days of my life.:(

Reminds me of when i caught Freshers Flu.

Ben Dawson August 9, 2008 8:28 PM

I had the Fuji Flu when I was 11, I was stuck in bed for 3 weeks. Had an extremely high temp, and was very dehydrated. It was torture, because although body heat-wise I was boilling, I felt physically felt like I was lying naked in a bath of ice, and I couldn't even put a blanket on, in fear of dehydrating more. It was terrible and if it had been just a little bit worse, would've been life threatening.

James P. August 9, 2008 10:53 PM

Wow, two flus I've never heard of. I just had your standard, run-o'-the-mill flu.

Kody August 10, 2008 8:33 PM

So yeah, the flu wasn't gone, had to go to the ER and fun stuff.

Working on the rules soon.

I do Ross I'm afraid. let me elaborate for you. :(

Freshers Flu occurs, obviously in freshers week. You've grown up in one location your whole life, your used to it and so on. When you start freshers week your meeting different people form different regions and different backgrounds. They come with all these different types of viruses and bacteria of which your body is not immune too. Your going to catch these different bacteria and your body has no defense, and then that develops into the freshers flu. It's bloody terrible, I couldn't sleep, breathe or eat. It's a pain, but does go rather quickly mind.

I'm wondering if this belongs in Genral Topics or forum fun. I know it's ment to be topic to come to if your ill, and i have to give James credit for creating a topic none of us have =). But I do doubt this will be used much.

No offense James.

Maybe someone should add the flu stuff into that topic then.

I'm currently suffering from *DEAD*. Unfortunately, *DEAD* does not have a cure. *DEAD* affects most of us during our lives (often towards the end of them). However, I've managed to contract *DEAD* whilst being slightly alive, but a little tired. *DEAD* cannot kill you, but it does eliminate any quality of life you had, aside from being allowed to rest in peace.

Oh, and I'm currently working with some strained back muscles and one dodgy thigh. The joys of retail...

Does addiction count? I believe I'm suffering from a brief one. At least it's not Runescape. :P
