What are you listening to?
What are your favorite bands/songs?
Right now, I'm really liking the band Something Corporate and Jack's Mannequin. "Konstantine" by Something Corporate has got to be one of the best songs ever made (IMO). For Jack's Mannequin, I'll have to pick "The Mixed Tape" as my favorite song. Comments, thoughts, favorites of your own.... |
Listening to Linkin Park at the moment, the album "Meteora" A fantastic album.
Nice. Yeah, I like Linkin Park. "In The End" will be forever stuck in my head.
Hmm, well im particularly fond of Queen, and also some of the Proclaimers' older songs.
The custom-made version of the Doctor Who theme that I finished last night. Oh, and of course the Delia Derbyshire original Doctor Who theme from 1963. And for good measure, a bit of Peter Howell's 1980 Doctor Who theme mixed in and if I really want to shake things up, then I'll go for Dominic Glynn's "Trial of a Time Lord" theme for Doctor Who's twenty-third season in 1986. Plus the remixes on Whomix -- you never know what you're going to get with those. ;)

I think I meant bands....or music artists....
Delia Derbyshire, Peter Howell, Dominic Glynn, Keff McCulloch (barely), David Arnold, Murray Gold -- these are all music artists. They are composers, and they have all composed the Doctor Who theme at different times over the past 42 years. Don't diminish them because it's not the kind of music you listen to. They're still damn talented people.

By music artists I meant SINGERS!!!!!!!!
Bands, and single singers. There. Is it clear? I dont care if you want to talk about Mozart, its still not relevent to what I wanted for this specific topic. |
Thread title = "What are you listening to?"
That's the question I answered. Besides, believe it or not, Peter Howell actually sung part of his rendition of the theme. :D |
I think we should expand it to artists rather than singers.
Fine...whatever. Go ahead.
I tend to listen to that as well, I a also listen to Green day. good Charlottle, the Rasmus and a fair bit of Queen as well.
Thank you, Ross.
Well done Ross. :)
