Fallout 3

So 4 weeks after I was supposed to pick this up from home I finally was able to get home to pick up my copy my friend had kindly looked after for me. Despite not being able to fully get to grips with it thanks to a dying Xbox what I have done so far is amazing and much more Immersive than Oblivion. Having Liam Neeson as your Dad feels so right and the introduction process is extremely well thought out.

I also have to give marks to the VATS system as it;s not as bad as I would have imagined. mixing such a system with real-time combat is something I usually am not fond of. But after i executed a guy by watching his head explode in slow motion made me wet my lips, and exploring the wasteland of Washington really gives you feels of sadness as well as the joy of exploring whats left of the landscape.

I do recommend this game and if you have not bought it yet it's worth doing so. Now I have to go decide if I want to disarm or arm a Nuclear Bomb or not :P

This game is fantastic.

Just don't beat the main storyline until you're sure you've done enough elsewhere. The game ends for good...

...that is until this DLC Bethesda is working on comes out. They're adding Alaska and Pittsburg.

Hell yes! Thats going to be sweet.

I wonder if Gaithersburg is in the Capital Wasteland area? I could take a photo standing roughly where Danny's house might have been. :D
