What did you get for Xmas?

My Christmas was more about giving than receiving. I bought iPod touches for my mother and a good friend, and spent a lot of money on gifts for others as well to thank them for taking care of me over the past few months, which have been very difficult for me. I didn't receive anything of particular note, which is absolutely fine by me. In fact, it's what I wanted -- I specifically requested that no one get me anything at all this year. Of course, people still did, but without any specific ideas to go on, they weren't able to get me as much as they might have.

Thats nice Danny, sorry you've had a rough time! It is nice giving presents as well and knowing that they enjoy them! I hope you had a nice Christmas, I got my mum Mamma Mia! She loves it!

Ronnie Rowlands December 27, 2008 5:06 PM

I got my mum mamma mia as well. She loves it, which means she's going to have friends over every night to watch it. I got my Dad the entire Monty Python set but I don't mind if he watches that repeatedly.

Absolutely. This was the first year that I really bought presents for others en masse, and I found that I much more excited to give people their presents than I was to receive them.

XBox Games:
Tom Clancy's EndWar
Call of Duty: World at War
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3
Fallout 3
PES 2009

Other Random Stuff:
Resistance 2 (PS3)
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
24: Redemption
England 2-3 Scotland 1967 Commemorative Retro Gift Set
An insanely cool remote control model helicopter

Yeah... typing that out actually makes me realise how lucky I am. Suppose it didn't help that I have two seperated parents competing for my favour...

I totally understand the feeling. I wish I could have done that, but unfortunately I had no blinking idea what anybody wanted or would like. If I had any real life friends I might have faired better as far as they would be concerned, but no such luck. And I haven't talked to my cousin in a while so I had no idea what she would like or what she already had or... anything. It was a little frustrating... oh well... my mom and dad managed to help pick a couple things out.

I got Mario Kart Wii(which is a lot more fun than I expected <3), a $50 iTunes Gift card(which may be used up very soon), and... an ice maker. It's pretty sweet, though it doesn't keep the ice it makes frozen. But it makes a ton of it so that doesn't matter much.

In Britain we call them fridges.

Nono, this is different. It's this little tank thing that you pour water in. There's a basket that goes over it. Close it up and turn it on and it makes ice. Not in cubes though... they're these like... cyllinder things with holes in them.
This is pretty much it:

Though I do actually have a small fridge in my room. The freezer's just too small.

I'm curious as to the explanation Bethesda will come up with for the potential plot hole inducing ending depending on what you do.

With that in mind, so am I.

Kody December 29, 2008 4:33 PM

Funny story.. my family, never celebrated Christmas. (They were.. odd, very odd people)

So this year was my first 'real' one, I ended up with a few little things, new mouse pad, some shirts, dvds.. oh and a friend bought me a new sonic screwdriver /physic paper wallet, the old pair I had was lost in the car accident as well, so that made me smile.
