Chris' adventure at the West Midlands MCM expo
 

I forgot to mention a couple of weeks back i went to the West Midlands MCM Expo in Telford, luckily only 20 minutes from my University. I had decided to go as the Punisher and had managed to get an appropriate T-Shirt for my birthday as well. ;) So I loaded up, took my birthday money and drove down.

I enjoyed myself there despite the lack of stalls although I heard the London version is supposed to be much better and bigger. I stuck about for three hours and managed to meet Kenny Baker; a.k.a R2-R2 and got a signed photo of him, he did not say much though and I think the woman next to him was his wife, who made you want to get his autograph and just go away, which I did respectfully.

There was plenty of hugs and glomps going about, i kind of got caught up in the fact it was my first expo and ended up spending about £150 :P I ended up with:

3 Graphic Novels (Watchmen, New X-Men and Uncanny X-Men)
Dragonball Z season 3 and 5
Goku statuette
Stormtrooper Bobblehead
Signed photo of Kenny Baker

But it was a good time, so I am aiming to make it to London with my sister and my friend James this summer ;)

Unfortunately no as I lacked a camera. hopefully I will have one on hand for London.
