Why don't you tell about funny sales youhave seen on eBay and let us laugh at how desperate people can get. I had seen some funny sales myself, these include:

An Invisible Guitar: sales abadoned.
an British Pound coin, was sold for £5
A bucket of Bristol water.
an Xbox 360 box for $611

I would hope so. Anyone who would buy this has to be the sorriest of the sorry.

Some people will do this. We saw something similar in my sociology class when people bidded on a $0.25 coin for $4.00. :P

How would they ship this one? :P

I can see it now, showing off to your friends. "Look, I got an Xbox 360!" *shows them box against the wall, with newly installed packing tape on it* "I'm not going to open it until Christmas as it's a present to myself. But I do have one! Really! See?" :D

You mean British pound coin. lol Actually ive done that before, I bought a set of Millenium collection coins that added up to like £3.50 but was being sold for a fiver lol.

I saw the air guitar a while ago. Im pretty sure someone was trying to sell their virginity on ebay a while ago. And believe it or not, there were bids.

Yes, that was a Bristol University student, it made the local papers, and she got the money :)

i can;t remember, something around the £2000 mark, but might have been more.

Extremely. That sort of thing should be banned from those sort of sites.

It is very wierd what they allow.

Sometimes they let things slip and it's not intentional.
