Ross, it's made by people who want to make the world of computing better for everyone, not people who are out to get other people. Besides, as I said above and you seemed to ignore, there are no Linux viruses, there is no Linux spyware. In addition, these projects are actually overseen by people. Assuming it did exist, it would never be allowed in. All these things are made, as I said above, by people who care about others and want to make things better for all computer users everywhere. That's what gives it such a pleasant environment to be in and makes it such a pleasant experience.

But how do we know who they are? They could be hardcore hackers waiting until everyone gets Linux and then activating a hidden program inside it that will fry everyone's computers or something.
