I haven't read it but the overwhelming opinion I've heard (outside the media) was that it was pointless due to a lack of plot or....anything for that matter.
The only person who said they liked it accused me of "never reading" and "spending too much time on the internet" (because apparently the latter doesn't include reading stuff, only looking at it). Unfortunately for him, I had just happened to buy the Dale Brown book I mentioned in my last post an hour before that event. I held it up to his face and shouted "Seventh book this year!" (it was the start of March). That quickly shut him up (and made him go red
).
