That's because Danny blocked the site from new members because thousands of people were joining and wouldn't even post once. If a member wanted to get in, they had to email Danny personally, that idea went a bit pair shaped, so he went back to just pruning unwanted (onces who don't take part) members.
Anyways, welcome to the forum, hope you enjoy your stay. It's a good thing that we have another member that likes the old series too. True, there are quite a lot of fans of anything to do with Doctor Who, but we've been drifting into the new series...maybe you are all we need to be kick, punched, stabbed, shot and bombed back into place (hey, could we be Daleks).
