The point was for the text to stand out, and so I applied a shadow (and an outer glow). Just because a reflection may look nicer than a shadow doesn't mean I have to use a reflection for
everything. A reflection just wouldn't work in this design, I'm afraid.
Besides, the members seem to be happy with it how it is, and that was my intention. Simple is good.
