I have just finished work remastering Murray Gold's series one and series two closing themes. I have done significant work to make them hopefully sound as good as possible.
I first tackled the series two theme, as I felt inspired to do so after Sontaran's attempt. I think this one came out very well. The highs are crisp and clear and the lows are nice and bassy. You can download the series two theme

While I was at it, I decided to also give the series one theme a try. For this, I used similar techniques as I did for the series two theme, except less pronounced (the series one theme seemed to need less mastering to begin with). In addition to this, I felt obligated to correct Murray Gold's psychotic choppy Derbyshire bassline which appears and disappears at random points throughout the theme. There is now a consistent, clear Derbyshire bassline throughout this version. You can download the series one theme
