It was a fantastic season finale, but not the best episode of the series. Saying that, it had plenty of twists and turns, and the whole Cap'n Jack being the Face of Boe...BRILLIANT!!! The burning of the Masters' body was in my opinion heavily referenced by RotJ...buuuut, the Master has always come back before, he'll do it again some day
