Yes, exactly -- you put them the other way around when you shouldn't have.
Proper HTML formatting goes like this:
<Punches Jez>
Text
</Punches Jez>
You did the opposite, like this:
</Punches Jez>
Text
<Punches Jez>
That would break an HTML document.
