I've listened to the other Time Rat trial (well, V2. I don't think I listened to v1) and found it great, as I have this one. Very good! I personally don't mind the 4-note melody 2 thing.
(If you wanted to put your edit into the whole thing though I recommend a simple little program called Wavepad. Trust me, if anything, I do know about copying and pasting.)
