The earliest Game i can remember which had iron sight was Call of Duty: Finest Hour for the Ps2. I don't know any prior shooter which did that, although MoH decided to adopt it because it was losing ground to CoD and still is.
Once I do crysis this weekend i may look into doing CoD 4
