Ronny I think the reason Donna didn't hear the TARDIS because it wasn't crash landing unlike in The Christmas Invasion where Mickey and Jackie heard it from miles off (at least thats what RTD would say).
I thought Sarah Lancashire made Miss.Foster a great character!
