Um, WTF? You are insane, sir. The probic vent weakness is
directly out of the old series, and in fact made its debut in the very first Sontaran episode (The Time Warrior). In fact, the dialogue between the Doctor and Staal about the probic vent in The Sontaran Stratagem was
extremely reminiscent of the dialogue between the Doctor and Linx about the same thing in The Time Warrior. I'm pretty sure at least one of the lines was even word for word, or damn close. Have you even
seen any old series episodes with the Sontarans? Because I'm pretty sure the probic vent weakness has been exploited in every single one.
